I like that this includes a pot and some rocks so it really is all there. The pot is a little on the small side compared to the tree, so it might be nice to upgrade it, but it does work as is. I don't think it will fool anyone as real, but it's decent quality and adds some nice greenery to the corner of our office space without having to water and keep a real plant alive. Assembly was about as expected.

This is the artificial version of one of my all time favorite plants and it's beautiful!I ordered this to go into a corner of my office area that doesn't get any natural light. (It's on purpose as this is my decompression corner.) The space needed something green but I needed to not have to worry about light.This is a wonderful compromise. Pretty Faux Monstera, A Nice Touch of Green for Any Room

Overall, I do like this faux monstera plant. It’s a bit smaller than I expected, but it still adds a nice pop of green to a darker room. Assembly was easy, each stem is bendable so you can shape it to look fuller, and it even comes with extra rocks for the pot (though the top layer is already glued in).The leaves are… okay. Not the most lifelike I’ve seen, but definitely not the worst either, somewhere right in the middle quality-wise. They still look nice from a distance, just not super premium up close. The base and trunk are actually my favorite part. The cocoa husk fiber covering looks good, and the faux vine wrapped around it is pretty realistic.Even with a few minor drawbacks, it’s a solid decorative plant that brightens up a space without any maintenance. If you want an easy, mess-free way to bring some greenery into a room, this is a nice choice. For the current price this is a fair deal.

Has a lot of potential.

This is a pretty cool artificial monstera. I'm definitely going to have to play with it though to get it to look realistic but I have a feeling that I can get it looking pretty good.Upon opening the package though, I noticed a lot of the material had come off of the trunk and I ended up having to glue some of it back on and then I had to insert the top part of the plant into their designated square holes... And you have to make sure you put them in correctly, because the leaves have to face out a certain way, otherwise it doesn't look right.I still need to shape some of the leaves and do a little bit of bending and maneuvering... Hopefully I can get it looking a little bit better.I wish a couple of the leaves were a little bit bigger giving it a more mature look .... Also the pot looks a little bigger in the picture to me, they do include some rocks to add to the pot.. which I like .. but I'm probably going to have to get another container/pot to put this in because I'm not feeling the one that comes with it.

Easy Way to Add a Nice Tropical Look to Your Décor

I have tested and reviewed many of these artificial plants/trees. Bottom line: if you like the simple and clean lines of a bird of paradise plant, you won’t be disappointed with this artificial one. See several photos of the plant in one of my rooms. It most definitely evokes a tropical vibe.Unlike others I have reviewed, this artificial plant was very easy to assemble and shape. The leaves and branches are all numbered so it’s quick and easy to properly assemble. I also REALLY appreciated that the stickers used to number the pieces came off easily. I’ve been so frustrated with all the time wasted trying to get sticker residue off other products. Once you insert the 8 individual leaves, you just need to spend a few minutes giving the branches and leaves a natural curve to open up the plant and to give it a more realistic appearance.The two top leaves are lighter green in color, indicative of newer growth, and all the leaves have slight “rips” in the edges. These features add to the realism. Given the broad leaves, this plant will also be much easier to dust and keep clean than other types of artificial plants/trees.A few tips: first, the leaves come somewhat wrapped around the stems in the box. Place the package of leaves face-down on your floor for a day or two before assembling (see photo). This will help flatten them back out so they won’t have any unnatural curvature.Second, the plant comes with some dried moss to place on top of the cemented pot (to hide the cement). I think the moss really cheapens the look. Plus, if you will be using the plant outdoors, that moss will quickly fly away unless you hot-glue it down. Instead, I recommend filling the top of the pot with some weighted substrate, such as decorative stones. I chose to use some expanded clay pebbles (see photo).Lastly, the plant comes cemented in only a 6-inch black plastic pot. If you will be tucking this plant in a corner or behind some furniture, that pot may be sufficient. But if you will be using this plant outdoors, in a high-traffic area, or as a focal point where the pot will be front-and-center, I recommend purchasing a larger decorative planter into which you can sink (and hide) the small plastic pot. Just fill the entire planter with your decorative substrate. This will not only make the overall look more realistic, but it will also make the plant much more stable (especially for outdoor use).
