These stands are made from quality material and are exactly what I needed to display my stained glass in an upright position on a ledge. They come with a set screw that will securely hold the artwork in place.
I was so excited when I saw these stands thinking that they would be perfect for glass art. I love the fact that they have an adjustable set screw, and was pleasantly surprised to find the screw comes with a small rubber gasket (see photo) to cushion your art. Unfortunately, the quality control of these stands is lacking. Two of my four stands have the metal mounting piece off center (see my photos). The screws are not level, and each screw was loose enough that I was able to tighten it half to 3/4 of a turn. In current conditions I would not recommend these stands.
I was looking forward to using these adjustable wooden stands to display some glass art pieces, and they’re flexible enough to hold glass art, ceramic tiles, plaques, or photos, and the adjustable slots make it easy to fit pieces of different thicknesses.
