The scent travels through your home
These candles smell really good and have a very strong scent to them. They are pretty and they burn very well. I really like the wooden wick. They make a lot of noise while you're burning them at first. The espresso candle is my favorite scent of the four. Mount Vernon one of the candles in my bedroom, I could smell it all the way out in my kitchen. The jars the candle cones and are really nice and thick glass. The tops looked a little bit beat up but I'm not sure if that was the machinery or during packing when that happened but it doesn't affect anything with the candles. They all smell really good. You can tell they are high quality and made with care. They're a great value.

Nice presentation, scents are either a hit or a big miss
The candles come in a nice presentation box and the individual jars they are poured in are nice. I really like the wood wicks, with the occasional crackling they make and, like the listing describes, they provide a very subtle hint of the smell of burning wood smoke. The scents of the actual candles, though, are a little bit questionable. Morning Espresso and Drunken Grape are probably my favorites. Morning Espresso actually smells like what says it will smell like. Drunken Grape has a nice grape smell, but it also kind of smells like an underground head shop. Whispers of Woods kind of smells like woods, but also like soap. Tea Mountain is my least favorite, I may not even burn it. I'm sitting here but can't come up with the words to describe what it smells like. There are some icons at the top of each label indicating the intensity of the scent, Drunken Grape being the most intense and Tea Mountain the least. The candles are 7.5 oz. each, which is a little on the small side. They claim 55 hours of burn time; the candle I'm currently burning is about half gone after 24 hours.

smells so good
this is a great candle set!! the smell does float throughout my space (about 1400 sq feet) and is really nice. now saying it's masculine is a stretch, bc I am a female and love the scents included. i also LOVE wood wicks. I like the crackling sound they make! this has a great burn time and at $33 for 4 candles isn't a bad deal.

Nice gift option!
These candles actually surprised me a little. When I opened the box, they all smelled pretty good. The grape one is definitely my favorite. The others are not as strong smelling. For the price point, they’re decent and would make a cute, easy gift.Personally, I’m more of a natural-ingredient girl. I usually go for beeswax candles over soy wax, so that’s just my preference. If you’re trying to go super clean and natural, this probably isn’t the best option. But if you just want something that smells good and looks nice sitting out, these work fine.
