Item arrived in perfect condition. Would have given it five stars if the printed images were more realistic and lined up better when assembled. But, as the image is a bit unrealistic and off-center, I wound up painting over the image, anyway, to get the effect I wanted to turn it into a prop for a “Gilligan’s Island”-themed Halloween party.Tip: as you get sections lined up and assembled, tape the two pieces together from behind. Otherwise, they are prone to slide/pull apart if you pick it up to move it and you will have to reassemble, which is annoying.Still, this made it easier to create the prop rather than to start from scratch, and, for that, it’s 4-star worthy.
We are using this for kids to take photos with at our kids school trunk or treat. I’m planning to decorate the cars a sea monster. We are dressing up as pirates and kids can walk the plank and steer the ship as activities to get to their treats.I like that this is light weight and ready to build. I’m a busy mom with two prek kids. This is sturdy enough and the imagery is very clean and nice. Perfect size for kids and adults.
I liked the look of this pirate ship wheel to help in decorating my truck bed as a pirate ship for an upcoming trunk or treat. All decorative parts and the floor support are made of quality corrugated plastic sheets. The wooden image of the ship wheel looks realistic. The size is 4 feet at the highest point and suitable as an authentic simulation. The instructions are not clear and problematic. Is part number 6 or 7 the adhesive tape strips or the adhesive clear plastic pieces? Those plastic pieces only have one adhesive sticky side but the instructions show that the triangle support attaches to the ship wheel prop. It was not obvious that the longer metal stack were to be pushed completely through one part. For the shorter stacks, it takes a few tries to find the tight holes to hold the stacks steadfast and then to line up the parts.
