It came kind of crumpled up in a bag, not rolled, so the backing is pretty floppy. There's a lot of softness, which mostly stems from the memory foam interior (which was not flattened by a vacuum seal, in my case). There's a lot of fluff, but mostly in length, not in fibers-per-square-inch. It did vacuum and wash nicely. It is a very cute, brightly-colored rug. I think $25 is a little high for the quality of product.
