Affordable, Long Lasting and Wonderfully Scented Floating Candles
I'm a candle fan. They don't have to be everywhere around the house just one or two on my desk is enough. I like the warm glow they put off and the little movements of the flame. So when I saw this box of 36 candles, I jumped at the opportunity to order them. A dollar for an 8 –10 hour candle is a great deal. I couldn't pass the offer up. Then I discovered that they are meant to be floating candles. No matter that I don't take baths, I figured if they burn while floating, they would burn on my desk. And guess what. I was correct. Besides, they would float in the pool later in the new year, too.The first thing one notices while opening the box is the pleasant scent of fresh peaches. The cold throw is not overwhelming either like some cheap candles trying to get to know you too quickly. No, it is a subtle, almost below the surface amount of fragrance from, I suspect, double or even triple scenting of natural essences. How warm and refreshing. Then you notice the volume. 36 of anything can be a lot, but when they are three inches in diameter and over one inch tall, one recognizes that this is, in fact, a lot of delightfully scented wax.Then there is the pleasing peach colored exterior layer or overdip on each item as if they have been dipped in peach frosting. Once lit, the lead free wick reveals a natural colored wax below. And as the wax pool gets larger, the scent grows stronger. The burn rate is indeed in the 8 to 10 hour range as claimed. And when the candle is spent, there is nothing left but a small wax ring and the wick tab. 85%+ of the wax is gone. Very efficient. That said, tub floating results may vary.Whether used indoor or out, in a tub or by a pool, these are affordable, long lasting and wonderfully scented candles that will improve the ambiance wherever they are. I am going to have to give them the maximum rating of 5 Stars. Now you'll excuse me while I trim a wick.

They smell amazing!
When I tell you that I could smell these before even opening the box… and they were shipped inside of another box.. I’m not even exaggerating! The smell was amazing and filled the room and I hadn’t even lit one yet.. a sweet warm vanilla scent that makes any room feel warm and cozy!The fact that you’re getting such a great bargain, with 36 very nice sized candles is kinda crazy… especially since we all know how expensive good smelling candles can be these days. The candle themselves are not small in the slightest, and the fact that they can float makes them even more impressive!Upon putting them in a glass with water the first thing i wanted to be sure of is that they actually floated… and that they burned evenly with no spilling and I quickly had all of my worries put to rest! I cannot wait to get some tall cylinder glasses to put these in because they are going to look great pretty much everywhere! The soft warm glow that they emit is perfect for late nights and bath time. There’s no need for any actual lights when using these in the bathroom, because they are perfect on their own, and really aid in relaxation.They burn forever as well! The candles have a great shape to them and are really nicely made. They work exactly as described and I’m really happy that I have these in bulk, because you can bet whenever they do run out, I’ll be buying more!

With their high water line, would not recommend using in the bath.
I found these to be just alright.... Two major issues I have. The biggest is the scent. What's odd is the box is very aromatic! Leaving the candles out scents the room nicely. But I found that once lit, they don't really smell at all and that was disappointing. Furthermore, although I haven't used them in the bath, I wouldn't recommend that. They sit very low in the water that any kind of movement will likely extinguish them. For the most part I don't really think they are intended for bath use anyway. The positives are they are in fact very nice looking and if used correctly can add aesthetic to any room. There is no way these are a 10 hour burn unfortunately. Per the photo's the time lapse between the first two is about 10 minutes. The last photo is the candle completely extinguished after about 4.5 hours. Still, they are well made and I think perform admirably for what they are intended.

Smells amazing!!
I have fallen in love with this scent! It smells so good! The candles do float very well and last for a long time when burning. I was surprised by the scent lasting so long and the candles not burning out quickly. These would be perfect for decorating at a wedding or baby shower as well. Very nice find!

Trim the wicks first–or else you'll get tall, black-smoke-producing flames that aren't at all the vibe-y glow you want in a bath. The smell on these is STRONG. If you like vanilla, you'll be pleased. But it's definitely a cheaper vanilla smell (you get what you pay for!)

Pretty and versatile in white
Wow, with 36 floating candles, I am set for any event or power outage! Pretty in white, these floating candles will add romance and elegance to any room, including bathrooms. Pretty in column vases or a bowl. I haven’t burned any yet, so I cannot vouch for the melt rate or burn time. But with a quantity of 36, we’re good to go.

Nice vanilla candles
The first thing you'll notice about these candles as you open the box is the smell. They vanilla fragrance is definitely noticeable. When each candle is burned, the smell is still there, but it is not very strong or overwhelming. Just enough to sense something in the air when you first come into or re-enter the room. The candles float in water, or you can put them on a plate or other hard, non-flammable surface. They look beautiful and peaceful when lit and do not cause any big wax spills. They are just candles, so easy to use and work well for what they are for.
