These shelves are clear and sturdy, exactly as described. I didn't use the screws because the back of my bookcase is a very thin board which wouldn't support the shelf, so I just rested the shelves on some acrylic stands and they work fine.
The shelves themselves were nice. However, two of them came cracked.

Just purchased the 6 pack. Great value it was a quick install for them.I had previously ordered same set and all arrived broken it also seemed like a previous purchaser had opened and attempted to install. This is the only reason giving 4 stars. Once I received the second set it was a different story. All was packed nicely with the tools needed.Just the right size for the boys bedrooms and looks fantastic! No more books all over the floor!
I already put up 3 of these shelves and they work good for lightweight things like action figures.
