Very nice clock

We were looking for something large to fill a vaulted ceiling wall in our great room/kitchen. This 30" clock is perfect. You can read it from anywhere in the room. It isn't very heavy, which to me is a good thing. It doesn't feel cheap though. The combination black and gold (with black hands) is perfect on our dark beige wall. It makes it easy to read. The only weird thing is it says it needs a carbon AA battery which I couldn't find in stores, so I ordered some from Amazon. I'm not sure how much damage an alkaline battery would do, but the directions specifically state a carbon battery. Being as high as it is on the wall, changing the battery may prove to be a challenge, but that's not the clock's fault. So far it's keeping perfect time.
