The rug is very soft and looks great! It’s not very thick but is it comfortable to walk on. I was forced to wash it due to one of my dogs having an upset stomach in a large section in the center of the rug. To be honest, I thought I was going to have to throw it away but I cleaned up the solid mess and rinsed off in a laundry sink and then threw it in the wash machine. I was amazed! The entire rug came out looking brand new! I would highly recommend to anyone especially if you have pets or kids. It hides dirt well even though it is a light color.
