A Neutral Recliner Cover That’s Soft, Stretchy, and Surprisingly Well-Behaved
First thoughts upon opening:I love the color. It’s very close to a cardboard-khaki shade. That sounds boring—but it’s not. It actually works in my favor because it lets me switch things up season to season without much hassle.That said, once I really looked at it, I wondered if I might have preferred a printed design. Not because of the color, but because of the fabric itself. The surface has a lined texture, similar to corduroy. My brain doesn’t just see lines—it sees craters. And if those lines aren’t straight? That’s the kind of thing that can quietly drive me mad. I’m absolutely the person who straightens the pictures in a hotel room before unpacking.Surprisingly, though, it hasn’t bothered me at all. Once on, it stays put. No constant tugging, no re-tucking, no stopping mid-walk to fix it because something shifted.I’ll admit, it was a bit intimidating when I first pulled it out of the bag. I thought I’d just toss it over the chair and be done—but instead it turned into more of a “how in the world…?” moment.The instructions are basically non-existent, but after looking at the pieces a couple of times, it came together without too much hassle. There are labels clearly showing what each piece is, and the fabric has stretch for days, so it accommodates a wide range of sizes. Adjustable straps help pull everything taut, with small buckles that lock them into place and keep the cover from shifting. The gravy on top is a nice roomy pocket for all your whatevers—gotta love that.The fabric itself is very soft, and the texture is genuinely pleasing to the touch—it really does feel like a very soft corduroy.It’s machine washable, which is a big plus, even if I slightly dread taking it off and having to start the whole process over again. Just what I need—another chore to add to my “to do” list.As nice as it is, longevity is still an open question. That said, at price points ranging from about $22 for a single recliner to around $55 for a 3-seat reclining sofa, if it holds up for a year or two, I’ll be more than satisfied.

Doesn't fit well.
Online description of item is really lacking, there is no description outside of title. It appears like maybe this cover is for a specific chair a d that my chair is not that chair. I have to say that expectations did not meet reality with is item. The item may be a good value for money, if you have the correct chair. The material is comfortable and soft. Unfortunately the way the material stretches to fit the recliner does not look very good, especially in the corners. You an see the stretch lines of the fabric. Title and lack of description lead me to thi k this would be a good fit for any small recliner, but it was not a good fit for mine.

Soft and Comfy, Instructions Could Be Better
After a bit of a struggle, I was finally able to get this on my chair. I don't know if it's me or my particular chair (It's electric and not manual) but I had a heck of a time getting the elastic bands down through the sides of the arms/seat to be able to connect them on the bottom. Maybe the electric recliner is just built differently than the manual ones are, which the listing only shows photos of. It's super tight with no give at all. There was no way to get my arm through in order to push the elastic down. But I was able to squeeze my very thin 'reacher' (SEE PHOTO) down through the sides and out the bottom to get the elastic bands where they needed to be. Once I accomplished that I was able to finish putting the main cover on by connecting the bands to the plastic buckle that holds them in place. The enclosed instructions are pretty useless in this regard. The photo in the listing is a little better, so use that as a source instead. The arm pieces are labeled 'right' and 'left'. I wasn't sure if was meant my right when sitting or when standing and looking at the chair. They have pockets on each side, but the one had a slit for a handle, so I went by the photos and put it on the corresponding side. This side also has a hole behind the pocket. I am able to thread my charger wire through it. Unfortunately, the control buttons and charger outlet is about 5 inches above the hole, so I have to feel around a bit to try to find the controls. I may eventually cut a hole out to make it easier to maneuver, but I'm going to try it as is for now in order to prevent that. (the photo with the tiny blue light shows where my control buttons are compared to the hole in the cover)I washed it before putting it on. It came out of the dryer without any pilling or nastiness in any way. It's nice and soft and comfortable. It seems to stay in place very well, only the leg portion needs a little adjusting when I put it down after reclining in the chair.Bottom line, I do like how this recliner cover looks. It makes my previously gray chair a nice brown that matches the rest of the furniture better, and the color matches my sofa pillows perfectly. I'll probably snip off the red tag as it takes away from the overall look.
