Used these for camping. The mosquito coils do not melt the plastic, the metal inside does a good job. Works as intended. Also looks better than an exposed mosquito coil sitting on the table.
These work well for what they’re designed for- to hold bug repellant coils. However, they are very cheaply made and dent easily. Also, the inside “spikes” to help hold the coils are cheaply made as well and if you push and pull too much, they just break off. Also, don’t try to touch them once you’ve lit the coil and put the cover on, because they get HOT!! Wouldn’t buy again
Very effective and durable mosquito coil that lasts up to 2hrs. Thus very functional and well made. Can be hung and very study.

I felt protected. Recommend for personal use
The tin sits in a black plastic holder and has a hook to hang, very convenient. You separate the tin top, the bottom has spike like tabs to attach the center of the coil. The problem is the slit on the coil center does not fit the tabs therefore the coil drops to the edge and burns the tin. The tin burned hot enough to soften the plastic holder. You can burn your hand on the tin if you touch it. I would not recommend.
These do not come with the actual mosquito coils. The type I am familiar with burn slowly, like incense. These worked well with the coils I used, Bugbai. The metal on the inside kept the incense off of the plastic. The plastic vents you can adjust how open they are which will affect the rate of the burn and the amount of smoke. When I closed the vent completely the coil stopped burning. This is very handy if you aren't going to be out with the mosquitoes for hours. These are safer than the little stands that come with the coils, you don't have to worry about it being knocked over or a child touching it. They close securely over your coil.
