A little thin, but love the pattern.

At 2 ft x 6 ft, this is a good-sized runner rug. We ordered it to spruce up our upstairs hallway where the existing carpet is starting to show it's years. It's a lovely light blue color, with a really cute dog pattern. The rug itself is soft and somewhat lightweight, but that's okay for us since it's laying on top of carpeting. But for the price, it should be a bit more solid. Aside from that, it looks nice and lays flat, and the shipping creases are already gone, so all is good.

Cute Dog-Themed Runner, But Extremely Lightweight

I selected this runner rug because I have dogs and thought it would be perfect for their area by the back sliding door. My idea was that when they come inside they could wipe their paws on it, and in the summer I could even place it outside on the patio near their dog door for the same purpose.The design itself is very cute. If you’re a dog lover, the different dog illustrations are fun and the dark green color is really nice (green is my favorite color, so that was the option I chose). It definitely adds a playful touch to a space and works well in a pet area of the house.The main issue for me is that the rug is extremely lightweight. It really has almost no weight or thickness to it at all. Some washable rugs still have a little substance to them, but this one is very thin and weightless. Because of that, it tends to move around easily. If dogs run past it quickly, it can flip up, and I can imagine it blowing around if used outside or even shifting when vacuuming.One other small detail—something I noticed when selecting it—is that all of the dogs face the same direction in the design. That means when you walk one way the dogs look correct, but when you walk the other direction they’re upside down. Not a huge issue, just something to be aware of if you’re particular about patterns.Overall, the rug is cute and the colors are nice, but because it’s so lightweight it doesn’t feel very substantial. For that reason, I’m giving it three stars.
