*WASH IT WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT*Indeed this rug arrived folded; because it was folded, there were creased/dented looking spots along the print. As I do with most fabrics, I threw it in the wash with other throw rugs to see if that would sort it out.It sure did!I now have a lovely, even, velvet-like surface. The print looks gorgeous - highly saturated colors and a pretty design. The edge trim has a bit of a wave here or there (the stitching) but no impact on usability or durability. Just a note to make for anyone seeking perfection.The rubbery bottom does its job quite well. I needed a rug for the bottom of the staircase - between the snow melting pellets, rock salt, melting snow, and hard flooring, well - the area needed some more traction. Being washable makes this the perfect rug for that kind of a high-traffic area.At night, my cats will start goobing around and zoom back and forth. I'd find the previous throw rug all bunched up every morning. Not this one! I wonder what the cats think? They now have more traction, too.From the safety perspective, the edges sit pretty flatly and the overall pile is low - so there's less chance of accidentally kicking it up and tripping over it. The backing grips the floor well enough to stop the rug from becoming a greased sled.Wash and dry on a regular cycle - no issues. It's just a really well-made, high quality, attractive looking door mat/rug. $19 feels like a very fair price and a great value - basically under $20 makes this rug a highly ideal choice.

Cute Enough for Pinterest, Tough Enough for Michigan Winters

I put this 2x3 vintage floral rug right at our doorway because Michigan winters turn entryways into a muddy, slushy disaster zone. I needed something that could handle real life, not just look cute.It does very well.First, the size is great. It is larger than our previous entry mat, which makes a big difference when you have boots coming in covered in snow and salt residue. Pretty, colorful rug/mat

I have used this style of rug for a few years now. The rug comes to you folded in a zip plastic bag. When you open it up you see the fold lines. The underneath layer of the rug is not dyed or printed. Just the surface. The under layer is white. You can see the white showing through on the fold lines. The rug is very soft and smooth. Feels lovely touch. When you lay the rug flat you can brush the pile to remove most of the fold marks. As the rug lays flat the fold marks and the pile evens out. The colors and design is very fall like and pretty in the rug I purchased. These rugs do wash. I have washed them in the machine and put in a low temp dryer. I have hosed them off outside and dried outside. They don't always come out like you expect. The white under pile shows up in places. I lay the rug flat, use a dry wash cloth to rub and even out the pile. This works and is fine for this size of rug. The backing is good, really helps to keep the rug in place. Does not flake off. The edges are well stitched and tight. I use this style of rug on the floor as well as a topper in various places for the dogs to sleep on.

Too pretty to wipe feet on.

I know this is a door mat, but I think it’s too pretty to have people wiping dirty shoes on, so I’m putting it in the living room in front of an electric fireplace. It seems to fit right in there.The rug is even prettier in person than it looked in the pictures. I love the design and the colors. The leaves on the rug are remarkably detailed, and that’s one of the things that draws me to this rug. The soft tones and light colors look great against our cherry hardwood floors. They really brighten an otherwise expansive area of dark floor. The rug itself is very soft and feels good on bare or stocking feet.I have other mats that say they’re non-skid, but they still slip after they get dusty on the bottom. This rug really does grip. The back has a texture with rubber grippers that really do hold it in place. My husband and I are in our early 70's, so safety is important to us. The edges of the rug are nicely bound with no loose threads. The rug lays flat; there are no upturned corners to trip on. I really like this rug and so does my husband. He typically doesn’t say much about these kinds of things, but he was quick to tell me how much he liked it when I put it down.
