These pickle ornaments are very cute and fun. They are made of a fairly thick glass, and the pain/coating has a few defects in it. They definitely aren't made like delicate vintage ornaments that make a tinkling sound when tapped with a fingernail. However, these are pretty sturdy, and they look unmistakeably like pickles. They're very affordable, and that's probably the most important feature these days!
It looks just like the traditional pickles my grandmother used to give us special gifts before Christmas as a kid. It even has the ceramic shiny feeling and weight to it. We have been doing this tradition passing it down for years in my family. But I never was given my own pickles from the family, there aren’t enough left. So I am thankful to have found some so identical to the ones I grew up with.They look exactly like the ancient antiques passed down through generations. I have not been this thrilled by a purchase in a long while. Truly a great value for a low price. It is not at all cheap garbage- this is a true gem on Amazon. I’m so excited for christmas!
