These black and gold “Beware of Dogs / Close the Gate” signs are fantastic! I absolutely love the bold black and gold combo—it looks so classy on our black gate, like it was made for it. They’re thick, heavy-duty, and seem like they’ll stand up to any weather (fingers crossed they won’t rust!).The signs themselves are a decent size—big enough to be seen but not too overwhelming. I love that you get two in a pack, so I put one on the front gate and one on the back for extra coverage. The only hiccup? The pre-drilled holes in the signs are really small, so I had to run out and buy small zip ties in order to mount them. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it would’ve been nice if they’d included the hardware.Overall, I’m super happy with these signs—they look great and get the job done. Just be prepared to do a little extra work to hang them (unless you already have a stash of small zip ties in your garage)!

Really nice and perfect
The look of these signed is really nice and well done. The black with copper lettering looks great. They are the right size to be seen, but are not overbearing. The lettering is clear and easy to read with no blurring or shadowing. They are a nice thick metal and feel durable enough to withstand the elements. The only downside is they did not come with screws, but that's not a big deal. I think of you want to warn people about the animals in your yard, these signs are a great value for the money.

Quality in a Small Package
I should have been a little more cognizant of the product dimensions, and I would have been better prepared when I received the product. It does say that the sign is 10 by 7 inches in size, but for someone reading this review before buying who might not register scope or visualize size, it's about 90% or so of the usual size of printer paper. So, imagine a piece of paper posted on the gate, and then reduce by 10%, and you’ll have a bearing on the size of this product. I'm not sure why I would have expected it to be larger than advertised, but when I received the product, I was a little surprised over its stature. The letters serve in themselves as an eye exam for anyone who might approach the warning sign, albeit when someone gets close, the message will be clear enough represented by a quality ornament to your gate. Otherwise, it’s a high-grade product compared to what you'd usually expect to receive with these posted, premade, warning signs. The sign is actually made of metal, not that plastic or nylon you'd ordinarily expect of these warning signs, and the metal is relatively thick, so it doesn't bend without intention. Its physical makeup of metal is however something to bear in mind, as it's not the type of sign you can simply mount between the iron bars of your gate or wedge between the tiny metal strips of a fence. It does have holes punched in each corner for easier mounting by screws, zip ties, or those twisty things you get to keep your sliced bread packaging sealed.As I am posting the review upon receipt of the product, I cannot speak to how well it will stand against the outside elements, more specifically, its resilience to rust and paint degradation, which if its quality dictates, it may stay intact hopefully for years. Nevertheless, whether it lasts years, a year, up to a year, or mere months, the price point makes up for any short-lived preservation to it out of the box presentation.If I could make any suggestion, offer the product in a larger size so the lettering is clearly visible to all measures of eyesight. Seems a bit contradictive to the intended messaging when someone with less than 20/20 vision or is short-sighted would have to walk close enough to read a message warning them to stay away. Also, perhaps offer the product in a package of two for those who have two separate gate entrances on either side of their home facing the street. Everyone loves a discount, and I'd assume buying and shipping two instead would extend some level of savings to the buyer.

Good upgrade
I ordered this Beware of Dog sign to replace the generic black and red kind one finds at the hardware store. This one is definitely an upgrade: classier, sturdy, and blends well with the black aluminum gate it is mounted on. The signs (there are two in the package) did not come with mounting hardware, but we used some wire we had in the garage and it was easy to secure it to the gate.
