Things you'll want to know before purchasing this beautiful clock!
Loving this clock! Got the 30 inch. In retrospect, wish I'd gotten the 36 inch as the 30 inch doesn't look quite so big when actually up on the wall. However, the 30 inch will be easier to take down/put up when batteries need changing. Speaking of batteries, several people have mentioned that they feel they need to change the batteries too often, even every month. Because of these reviews, we purchased lithium batteries, hoping to not need to change them every month. It's been 6 weeks since we hung the clock and it's still keeping excellent time! Looks great, quality construction.So here are my tips:* In deciding which clock size to get, think about whether you can put it in a wall stud (the larger the clock, the heavier the clock, of course), as well as your own "wingspan" for when you need to take the clock down for battery changes.* Consider lithium batteries (double AAs, I think... check seller's description). Can't promise they'll make a huge difference for you, but we decided to take a chance and have been pleased so far.* Get some small thin felt furniture pads (the little ones they sell to protect your hardwoods from being scratched by chair legs). We cut a piece into little strips and put about 4-5 on the back of the clock so that we wouldn't scratch up the wall whenever we took the clock down/put it back up.* Be prepared to clean the clock up a bit before hanging. I spent at least 30 min getting little tiny pieces of styrofoam off the front and back of clock, and from within various little crevices. Even needed to use a small hand vac to reach the unreachable places.Despite all these extra steps, totally worth it. The clock is not just a clock - it's art too!Update: It's been 6 months since we hung the clock. The lithium batteries have worked great! We noticed the gears weren't moving a couple of weeks ago and just got around to changing them tonight - changed the two running the gears as well as the one running the hands, though they were still going strong. Still enjoying the clock very much!

We originally bought one of these wall clocks 2 years ago for our dining room and absolutely loved it!! Well made, keeps great time, and really fit with our decor. Fast forward 2 years and our best friend came over to visit and thought it was the neatest clock, with the moving gears, and the distinct size… so… we bought this one as a Xmas gift for his home which he’s currently updating! Great wall clock!

Beautiful clock
This clock is beautiful and seeing the videos of the gears moving is so cool.Unfortunately my clock is not working, I've tried multiple types of batteries and it is still not functioning.I am going to attempt to disassemble the clock and find the error, especially since clock repair is a hobby of mine.I have put it on my wall for the time being and it looks amazing (even without working) and I can't wait to get it working properly.I did notice multiple screws and nuts loose in the box, I'm assuming something came loose in shipping and I will update when I locate the problem.Update:I finally took this apart over Christmas and finally got it working! 2 of the loose screws had caused some pieces to come loose/jam the motors. Its still an amazing clock and it is an eye catcher for my friends and family.I would recommend this (even though it has a weird construction, in my opinion) as its a beautiful clock.

Doesn't Work
Doesn't keep time. Clock never worked right and after a couple of hours it stoped working completely. But the gear's work and it looks nice. By the time I got someone to hang it for me, it passed the 30 days return policy.
