    My 9 yo wanted these for reasons I still don't understand, so I figured I'd give them a shot. They arrived all together in one plastic bag that was shrink wrapped and each square was in perfect condition with no odor or off-gassing. Despite the honestly terrible photoshop in the listing, the middle picture is accurate - they're pretty thin but with wrapped edges, vibrant colors, and a patterned non-slip back. I wouldn't recommend walking onto them at a fast clip on anything other than carpet, but they are a pretty average non-slip on a more slick surface. The kids didn't have any problem hopping from one to another on our vinyl kitchen floor.Overall these match the listing and I'm satisfied. However, for the price I would expect them to be thicker and so I've removed a star.

    Not as expected.

    This is a no for me. I wanted to create a small play area for my three year old toddler on our hardwood floor. I saw these and thought it’s a good idea and even better they are non slip. Was I wrong. I do not recommend these on hardwood flooring. They are a slipping and tripping hazard. They don’t stay put even with the grip backing. They did work a tad better on carpet, but still cause a few tripping. They are also lightweight and not as thick. Overall and in my opinion they are overpriced. Not for us. I will continue looking for other options.
