I bought these for my Granddaughter's room. She got a Neon name sign for Christmas, and I needed something to go below it. The shelves were perfect! I love the beaded front, it's cute and holds everything on the shelf in. We put books and small stuffies on the shelves and the one with the rod we added curtain rings and hung all her Labubu's across it! Great Shelves, cute, sturdy and functional!
I mounted these shelves in my craft room to keep a number of supplies out in the open (not in a cabinet) where they would be reachable but contained. The bar on the shelves is great, it keeps things from falling off the shelves as you grab things. They hold quite a bit of stuff, so sturdy enough to be useful and take some weight. The extra bar at the bottom of one of the shelves is very handy for hanging things on too.I have installed shelves like these before and these ones were easy, no problem there. They look great in my craft room, and the price is not too bad. Normally I would want to make shelves myself to save money, but these were worth the price and saved me some time and effort.
These shelves are a little pricey for my preference, but the quality is quite good and the simplicity of the design will complement almost any space (especially spaces with white trim or accents). I am still deciding their final placement but my hope is to put the one with the towel rod in our new zen/reading space. We have an infrared dry sauna in a spare room with a comfy reading chair, and it always helps to have a towel nearby when we exit the sauna before heading for the shower. We have collected a few knick-knacks and decor that will look great on these shelves due to their open-front design, and the safety bars will prevent most of our fears of those items tipping over or falling. If the price were slightly lower, I think I would have felt just a bit more confident in this 5-star rating. I was happy to see that they were not made of melamine-coated MDF, but were actually made of 3/8 - 1/2" smooth plywood and just painted with many coats to create that hardened look on the surface. That gives me some confidence that if I should nick or dent these, I should be able to patch them easily with wood filler. They are definitely re-paintable if the white isn't preferable. I was even more surprised to see that the wooden balls were all separate on a metal rod (see attached video) and were not just a carved single-trim piece and were also made of actual wood. Extra wooden balls were provided (3), but I'm not entirely sure how I would even get them on the rod if one were to crack because the rod is wider at the ends with a stop lip to prevent them from falling off while installing. With a small hand drill (a regular Phillips-head screwdriver will work also), this took me about 10 minutes to assemble all 3 myself. They have a bit of a hand-crafted feel as there are some thinner areas on the paint and some minor cracks/drips in the paint that aren't noticeable unless I am looking for them. Also, a small 1" level for wall mounting was included in the accessories. I would recommend this set if it is within budget and some of the hand-crafted feel to them isn't a bother. For my needs, these fit in well in my very lived-in house.
These shelves look great in my daughter‘s nursery and work fairly well. My issue is that the beads that run along the front of the shelf are not really attached and can pop off if you try to pull a book out and hit the beads. They are just strung on a wire that easily comes out and then the beads can go flying. It pops right back in so it’s not a huge deal but it’s a terrible set up. Otherwise they are pretty nice.
This is a very good quality product. It also looks great with its white color which goes well with my walls. It was straightforward to install. I just took my time to ensure everything was level and all the shelves were aligned, so it took me a little longer than the average user. But it was worth it. I like everything done perfectly. It is a small holder, but it still holds decent amount of items. It keeps things out of the way and the area looks clean. Highly recommended. I do not use it to store any extra heavy items, just for safety as I don't want things to fall from height onto the floor.
