they only look fake if you know!

Like some other reviewers, my first reaction when I opened the package was disappointment - the tulips looked a bit fake up close. But I decided to give them a fair shot and arranged them in a vase. Once I stepped back (or looked at photos) they started to look much more realistic. When my family saw them, the first thing they asked was when I’d bought fresh flowers. Not one person realized they were artificial!Now that they’re out on display, I’ve grown to really like them. They add a nice pop of color, and as long as you’re not inspecting them from a couple inches away, they read as real. For me, the flower heads look convincing; it’s the leaves that make the illusion less believable. But unless you’re focused on the leaves, you hardly notice. And honestly, I love not having to deal with keeping the heads from dropping like I do with real tulips!The only downside is the stem length. I usually prefer tulip stems a bit longer, so these were tricky to pair with a vase. Once I found the right one, though, the arrangement looked great - and the tradeoff is worth it for something that requires zero upkeep.

A cheerful splash of color livens up a dull space for less than $10

My expectations for these artificial tulips was not high, mostly due to the low price ($8.99), but my dining room table has been screaming for a bit of color, and I'm often too lazy to buy fresh flowers, so I thought I'd give them a shot. While I doubt that anyone who's ever seen an actual tulip would mistake these for the real thing*, these are surprisingly lovely! What struck me when I opened the box was just how incredibly vivid the colors are. The material is soft but sturdy, which is great because it means that when they get a little dusty, I can just run them under the kitchen faucet, shake them off, and put them right back in the vase. I read in the item description that sunlight can cause the material to yellow over time, so I will definitely be keeping these away from our harsh Colorado sun. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by these cheerful, reasonably priced artificial tulips.*I take that back. The day after writing this review, my adult son told me that he didn't realize that they were fake until he touched one.

So vibrant and realistic

These tulips are so pretty They don’t have that plastic or fake silky feel. When you touch them, they have a soft, delicate texture and they feel so authentic. The colors are so vibrant and showy, but realistic. They are 14 inches, and the stems are bendable to fit your arrangement. I put them in a white vase which really makes them pop. For just under $10 for 20 stems, these are such a great buy. They will be around for a long time, because the quality is wonderful.

These are possibly the most realistic artificial flowers I have ever seen. Not only do they appear real, but they also feel natural as well. Nice but Too Small

The colors are vibrant and the material they are made of appears to be able to withstand gentle handwashing when they get dusty. I gave one of them a spritz of 409, rinsed it off with warm water, and patted it dry with a cotton dish towel. The colors didn’t run and it held its shape. I like the textured detailing on the petals and leaves because it helps give them a more realistic look. At 13” long they are tall enough for a vase or to be used in a bouquet. The stems are wired so that they can be shaped as desired to fit the arrangements. I think the price is reasonable for the number of stems that you get. My one major complaint is that the flower and leaves are simply too small to look real. The flower and petals of real tulips are about 1-1/2 times as large as these. The photo shows that the flower itself is only 1-1/2” high. As an accent in an arrangement where tulips weren’t the main flower featured, they would be fine, but if tulips are the featured flower, you should probably consider shopping around because these are just too small.
