I got these in the french gold and they are very pretty. Good quantity for the price, I got a set of 12. The set came with four candlestick holders in three lengths (for of each size). This is wonderful for creating arrangements on a long table or series of tables, such as at a wedding or similar gathering. They have an elegant look to them. They come in three separate pieces - the cup, stem and base, as well as a cushion for the base to protect surfaces. Tapers fit in them well - battery and wax. My only qualm is that they are very light weight, and the tall ones can be a little top heavy with a candle in place. I would exercise caution with wax tapers, as these lightweight holders may have a higher chance of getting knocked over. They can be weighted inside the base of pinned down by the arrangement to avoid tipping.

Beautiful for Parties, but Very Lightweight

I ordered a set of 3 of these taper candle holders in French Gold, and visually, they are stunning. I wasn’t exactly sure what French gold was going to look like but I’m really glad I chose it. The color is gorgeous! The French Gold is gold with a hint of copper, not rose gold, but a slight blush.The tulip-shaped holder with the little flange under the cup is especially elegant. They arrived unassembled, but screwing them together was simple. One felt a bit loose at first, but tightening it properly solved the issue, and they were sturdy once assembled.That said, the materials are less substantial than I expected. These are very lightweight, with hollow bases that lack the heft of traditional brass candle holders. While the listing says they’re made of iron, they don’t feel heavy like that. The cups have a rounded bottom that allowed my taper candles to lean slightly, though a bit of melted wax helped secure them. I’d recommend using LED candles or shorter tapers to avoid any tipping concerns.These are best suited for events like weddings or parties where you need many candle holders and none will be left unattended, but I wouldn’t rely on them for everyday use at home because of stability concerns.

I was excited about these silver tapered candle holders because they look elegant in the pictures, and the set size is great for decorating tables or centerpieces. However, I was a bit disappointed once they arrived.They are very thin and lightweight, but feel somewhat cheap compared to what I expected. Because they’re so light, they don’t feel as sturdy as I would like, especially when holding taller taper candles. If you’re looking for something substantial and heavy, these may not meet your expectations.That said, they do look nice from a distance and could work well for temporary décor or events where appearance matters more than durability. Very Thin Shafts. Easy to Assemble

I really like how many candle holders are in this set. They are very easy to assemble. These holders are very, very thin. Very thin. The posts look more like they should be a support inside something, rather than the full stem itself. However, they work. The finish is very glossy. They look modern, not rustic or vintage. They are very lightweight. There are adhesive foam covers to make the hollow bottoms flat. I don’t use them though. I think it makes them more difficult to clean. It doesn’t add any weight or aesthetic to the candle holders. These may need weights added underneath the bases, if the candles used make them top heavy. This would be simple to do.I like how versatile these are. They are pretty and work for many themes and aesthetics.I plan to add an update if anything significantly changes for this item. Until then, it’s safe to assume everything is still consistent with this review.
