Lovely faux flowers 💐

I’m allergic to real flowers, so faux flowers are my go-to! This two-piece set didn’t disappoint at all. The purple color is lovely and incredibly realistic. If you’re styling them the way I am, you’ll have to be up close to notice they’re not real. They’ve held up well in all weather conditions so far, which is a plus since we’ve had snow and sunshine lately.One star off, because the packaging is an issue. The flowers are squeezed in a little box and they got smashed. Better packaging needed!

These will end up in the trash bin

I have to be very disappointed in a product to give it only 1 star. The pictures on-line are very deceiving. Two stems come inside this very narrow box which means the stems were bent in half and the flowers and leaves are mostly wrinkled and flat. I've tried to coax them into a natural look, however they continue to remain flat and wrinkled. Easily 90% of the flowers are unable to change from their closed shape. If I was able to undo the crushed flowers and wrinkled leaves this could be a nice flower arrangement but that seems to be impossible. These will end up in the trash bin.

I Really Want to Like These Flowers

Could be great - compression during shipping makes these a mess.PACKAGING - So...This is why these are only getting 3 stars. I have a picture of the box BOTH of these came in. The box is barely longer than the base stem, with one flower bunch at each end of this tiny box. The two stems aren't much smaller than the box by themselves, let alone a large bunch of silk flowers crammed in there.These were so tightly packed in this little tiny box that I had to open both ends and literally shove them out because there was absolutely no other way to get them free that wouldn't risk damaging them.Look, I get these types of products can take up a good deal of room if left to their own devices. I get smooshing them down somewhat. In fact, I've been getting a lot of silk flowers lately because I've decided to go with them this year instead of trying to have a lot of living plants due to my work schedule. But, catch is, none of them have come this compressed. I just received two six-foot garlands with large roses that were nowhere near this packed, and they barely took up more room.I've had them out since they've come, freed of their plastic. I've tried to fluff them. The leaves still look folded in on themselves, and the petals on some of the flowers look bent at wrong angles with some flowers completely crushsed closed. I'll leave them out, but after I run out of tricks, I'm at a loss as to how to get these to look semi-alive and not that someone used my planter as a seat.Or a giant came and smashed his thumb on them.Or look so misbegotten that my silk plants look like they're in need of proper care yesterday.In short - they're a bit of a mess, and it's all down to how they were packaged.DESIGN/LOOK - Outdoor flowers are always going to be a bit different than silk ones for indoor use, which does contribute to the issues with packing. They tend to be a little stiffer, a little more plastic-like, which is fine. You want them to survive the weather. From what I can tell, these at least appear to have that quality about them.The design of the plants, from what I can see with half the leaves bent and refusing all attempts to straighten, is actually nice. They definitely could be shaped to have a bit of trailing/hanging property to them. The colors of the flowers are nice, vibrant, and would be lovely if their petals weren't so crushed. The leaves remind me of ivy and have a deep green coloring.SIZE - These would be decent bundles without the wrinkles/bent leaves/crushed flowers. Two of them would fill a good amount of space which is nice, especially at this price point. While I wouldn't leave them out in the pouring rain or blistering hot sun for twelve hours a day, they definitely look like they could survive a couple of seasons - if not more, if put in a more protected area. Any prolonged exposure to intense sunlight or rain is, of course, going to diminish the coloring/structure of these types of faux plants, so keep that in mind when deciding where to have them outside.These would be a decent price for what you get if they didn't come so crushed. I'll update this if these finally pop out (seriously, I wish I could iron them). YMMV, but it really comes down to how they are packaged.
