They're exactly as described.
These seem like solid, reliable white light stands. They're good for most of the size crystal spheres that I have, from 40mm (1.57") to 100mm (3.94").The cord to each of these has an on/off switch; there's no additional settings (eg. strobe). Otherwise, there are no bells and whistles. These are just basic stands. They're nice and bright without being overwhelming.As I said, they seem sturdy. They look good, being polished, light wood. They've become a staple in my displays. I'll keep a few around in case I "inadvertently" find more crystal balls (lol.)This brand was the best price I found at the time.See pictures of multicolor spheres on the white light stands. The smallest balls are 50mm (1.97") diameter and the largest (in the back) is 100mm (3.94"). You can see that you don't want to go much larger than 100mm, or it may be unsteady.
