I got 8 of these candles. Really nice quality wicks and you can tell it is real beeswax by smell and texture.Note for people living in cold climates: be aware that when it gets sub zero the candles might chip a little in transit. Two or three of mine had minor flaking at the base, but it was also -4F when it was delivered. Once the candles got to room temp I was able to ‘patch’ them using the heat from my hands.Overall, very pleased.
I bought these candles and was very cognizant of burning them correctly to get the most out of each candle. Within 3 days they burned way off center and are basically useless unless I could melt it all down and had a mold. Very disappointing!
Smells nicely like beeswax, burns well. The wick does need to be trimmed every few hours or it gets too tall. I think it will make it to 80 hours as promised, but you have to trim the wick.
I purchased these candles twice, about a year apart. The first ones I purchased were great. The second ones were terrible quality: the wicks would not stay lit no matter what I tried. A candle has one job - to stay lit. At this price point it’s really disappointing to revive candles that do not function. I will not be purchasing again.
I want to love these candles, but of the two 6 inch pillars I purchased, one basically will not stay lit, guttered constantly when it was lit, and now will not light at all with half of the pillar still unburned. These are supposed to be good quality, and I have bought several other beeswax candles from Alternative Imagination (votives, thinner pillars) that have worked fine. But these are pricey, and I can't find out how to contact the seller, so...I probably won't buy these again.
These candles stopped burning half-way through. The wick just ended. Did not have the sweet smell of real beeswax. They seem to have been cut with some other type of wax. I’ll keep looking for a better source for real beeswax.
Poor quality candles. Don't burn well and stop burning after 10-15 minutes
