I’m really happy how it turned out. I didn’t want a medicine cabinet so this was the alternative. Only gave it a 4/5 since we just put it up. Hopefully in a month I can upgrade it to 5/5. Hopefully it’ll hold strong with the humidity.
Because I planned to put glasses on the shelves, I used wide shipping tap and some plastic to make “ends” on each shelf. Everyone says it looks great, and it is highly functional.
Doesn't hold any weight
These floating shelves look really nice and have a sleek, modern design. They advertise a no-drill option using adhesive, but I found the adhesive wasn’t very strong and didn’t hold up well. I ended up drilling them into the wall anyway, and now they’re very secure. Once installed, the shelves have held up well and look great. Good option if you don’t mind drilling, but I wouldn’t rely on the adhesive alone.
This is a nice two-pack of acrylic floating wall shelves. When they arrived, the protective covering was so well attached that I thought the shelves were milky acrylic rather than clear, but they have a sticker to remove it. This protective covering was so well attached that it was tough to start pulling it. They should leave a little overhang in one corner so one can begin to remove the protective covering. After you get it off, the shelves are crystal clear acrylic. What I like about them is the option to install them with adhesive rather than drill into the wall, and plastic spacers in case the wall is textured. There are also screws included, in case you want to attach it to the wall with a screw. Most people won't do it this way, but if you want, you can install the outer edge facing down.
