Very nice
Nice valance, really looks good..
I ordered these for one of my bedrooms, and they complement the room well.
Nice Valance. Material is good. It fit on my windows as expected.
This valance is very pretty. It has multiple colors that blend together. This makes it very versatile for matching decor. The material is a nice thickness. It’s fully lined on the back.It comes folded in a small package. This will require ironing or steaming before hanging. It is machine washable and made of a polyester blend fabric. It should be very durable. As a valance, it will help mute light coming in but it’s obviously not long enough to black all light on a normal window. I hung it over light gray blackout curtains to add color to the room. It looks gorgeous and blocks the light from the grommet holes in the curtains.
This printed blue valance is a decent value for the price, but I was a bit disappointed at the quality. I had hoped to use it as a decoration in one of arches in my house, but was disappointed to see that it was only printed on one side, so I was unable to use it in the way I'd hoped. The material is very thin. Though the print looks fine from the front, the back side looks a bit cheap and tacky. It is definitely not something I would feel comfortable putting in an area where both sides were visible. Since I was going to put it in the archway in front of my guest room, this would look unattractive from the back and not something I'd want my guests looking at.I ended up moving it to my kitchen, above the sink, to add a little pop of color. The colors are vibrant and the print itself looks fine. Since it's up against the kitchen wall, the backside view there is not important, so this worked out okay. For the price, it is a very inexpensive way to add brighten up a space, for any area where the backside view is not that important. This would also be fine as a valance in front of another layer of curtains that would block the backside view of the valance.
I originally intended to use this valance for a hard-to-dress basement window in my home office using a tension rod instead of a standard curtain rod. I did successfully hang it up there at first, and it looked great, but I realized that I probably need a little bit more room darkening for the space because my home office doubles as the guest room when we have overnight guests. The colors and quality of the window treatment were even better than I anticipated, and although it doesn't darken the room completely, it does filter the light softly and beautifully, which is an especially nice feature for small rooms. I ended up relocating the valance to my small powder room upstairs, and I love how it looks! The cool blue pattern is pretty and so classic that it goes well with most any decor. It worked equally well for both spaces, even though the office has more modern decor and the powder room is more traditional. I was also surprised at the softness of the fabric on this valance; it feels expensive and well made, with a beige lining on the underside. I had no issues fitting the tension rod in the seam allowance when I hung it downstairs, and the regular curtain rod also fit perfectly, so you can definitely use this with different types of curtain rods. I'm including pictures from both the powder room and the basement office (including a photo of the basement window without any covering on it so you can see why I needed a tension rod) to demonstrate how good it looks no matter you where you hang it.
