Effective and Attractive
This is a great pair of citronella candles from Winbattle. Mine arrived beautifully boxed in custom no-shed foam, and in perfect condition. They are true to the manufacturer's listed dimensions, but feel larger in person than I was expecting. Crafted from actual terracotta pottery, they have a good weight to them - which makes them ideal for outdoor use. However, their citronella fragrance is mild enough to burn them indoors, should you so desire. It is in no way the suffocating, overwhelming, chemical-laced citronella scent of my youth, but a bright, clean fragrance that I quite enjoy.I am very appreciative of the fact that these candles are natural and eco friendly. They are made with soy wax, natural essential oil, and pure cotton wicks. Their charming pots are able to be endlessly repurposed as holders for other candles, pens, or as little planting pots. They even have indentations on their bottoms which could be carefully drilled out to create drainage holes. Currently $18.99, these are very reasonably priced for both their level of quality and their ingredients. I live in an area with extremely heavy mosquito activity - particularly during the spring and summer - and these charming and effective citronella candles make evenings on the back patio so much nicer. Beautiful, Natural, and Perfect for Outdoor Evenings
The rough textured pot holding the candle feels earthy and real. Not polished, but charming in its own quiet way. Sitting outside by evening light or tucked inside among shelves, it just fits. Heat lingers slow through the clay, never too hot at the sides.The soy wax melts smoothly without soot, while a handcrafted cotton wick holds its shape through hours of steady burn. Testing mattered here - just right sizing means less leftover wax, plus stronger scent spread. Citronella smell was not overpowering but was surely there.A single use stretches far, sixteen ounces ensuring many nights under open skies. Citronella oil, drawn straight from nature, fills the air with a scent both clean and calm. Its job done quietly, the fragrance lingers where needed most. I love citronella candles, done right.
I think citronella gets a bad rap.People mistake that artificial, chemically, "bug sprag" smell for actual citronella and they really aren't even remotely close to one another.Actual citronella smells more like citrus and eucalyptus and something creamy altogether. It is lovely and still serves to deter flying pests. Even if it didn't though it is a wonderful fragrance that is warm and inviting and cheerful.These clay pottery containers are filled with a lovely soy wax candle, well fragranced with natural citronella scent.The pots feel earthy and would be right at home with any southwestern, boho or otherwise eclectic decor.They are substantial enough to dissipate heat without getting too hot to the touch, so far anyway.They aren't so large that placement is limited though.Each candle is 8 ounces and has a burn time of about 45 hours. So in this package, between the 2 you get 90 hours of pest free, warmly fragranced ambiance and for less than 20 dollars.They are amazingly well packaged and shipping is super fast. All in all an amazing deal for a pair of wonderfully useful candles.

Attractive Citronella Candles
This set of small scented candles from Winbattle seems to be an interesting combination of Boho, American Indian and Mexican influences. The decoration on the handmade ceramic pot is a simple but effective painting technique, and there are even some incised lines to give character. The brushstrokes of thick color and the sponged texture combine to make it a unique but functional art piece. They are approximately 4” wide x 3” tall and easy to handle.These two pots are similar, but since they are hand-made, not identical. Both are filled with a light-colored soy candle wax and wick. The scent is Citronella, so although the listing indicates they are suitable for indoor or outdoor, I personally would not want that particular scent inside. With a burning time of 45 hours, I am sure a candle would help ward off mosquitoes nearby on the deck or patio.These pots will arrive very well-packaged. I like the fact that the pots could be refilled, if desired, or even used as a decorative container for a small plant such as a succulent.

Cute two pack of citronella candles to keep the mosquitoes away
I am always getting destroyed by mosquitoes so when I saw this two pack of citronella candles, I thought they would be a great addition to my deck. I think they're very cute in the pottery. It kind of gives me indigenous vibes or southwestern.The candle showed up very well packed with foam to protect them from breakage. What I don't like is that they smell like soap. I know the citronella fragrance is there but they really smell like cheap soap. I'm glad this was outside because I wouldn't have these indoors. Other than that, they are very cute and a good value for a two pack and will help keep mosquitoes away.
