So I purchased these for my dressing room because I wanted to put my purses on display and I have to say they make a perfect addition to my shelf. They are very well made and just the right size for my after 5 bags.

I actually ordered this to help with pantry organization, as it can be difficult to see what’s in the back if it’s not up on risers; this saves me from having to pull everything out in the front to see what there is in the back, which ends up being more time efficient and saving money from unnecessary duplicate purchases (when I’m unable to see my current stock). However, it would work just as well for its intended purpose as a purse or accessory stand on top of a closet rack.Although I do find these extremely useful in particular situations, I do try to be sparing with my consumption of products made out of plastic (which is what acrylic is), as it does have negative health effects (yes, even airborne) on both humans and the environment as a whole during its production and after its usable life, when it will sit in a landfill for 5000 years. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of great, healthy, and eco-friendly options for this purpose. Bamboo risers have a high carbon footprint as well as high off-gassing from the adhesives that hold the pieces together. So that really only leaves metal shelving, which is difficult to find at best. For now, this is an effective and affordable option, but I will be conscientious to limit my use of it to only the areas where it is most needed.
