These artificial plants are perfect for any yard. The only thing that I did not like was the spike does not screw into the plant stem. It just slides in, therefore, not very secure. One swift wind gust or if hit by accident, the plant part will come off the spike. Other than that, they add a nice touch to the garden.

A Tale of Two Fauxliage Trees

Let’s be real. My ability to keep plants alive is roughly on par with my ability to fold a fitted sheet—tragic and full of false hope. So when I decided my front porch needed a touch of class (i.e., something that wouldn’t die and judge me silently), I took a chance on these artificial cypress topiaries.First Impressions: Are You for Real? The box arrived whispering, "I am Groot." Inside, two very well-packaged little tree guys were waiting for their moment in the sun. I unwrapped them and gave them a quick fluff. Now, "fluffing" an artificial tree sounds vaguely ridiculous, like giving a goldfish a motivational speech, but it works! After 30 seconds of gentle branch rearrangement, they went from "slightly surprised" to "majestically poised." The texture is fantastic—no weird plastic sheen. From a distance of more than two feet, my neighbor actually complimented my gardening skills. I just nodded sagely, like a wise old arborist, and did not correct her.The Installation Olympics (Spoiler: I Won a Gold Medal) The included stakes are sturdy. I grabbed a mallet (a shoe would also work in a pinch), and within five minutes—FIVE MINUTES—I had two perfect, symmetrical trees standing guard at my door. No digging a hole to the Earth's core, no wrestling with root balls, no arguing with my spouse about which way "it just looks better." It was the most successful and least stressful home improvement project I've ever undertaken. I spent more time deciding what to watch on Netflix than I did on this entire landscaping endeavor.Weathering the Storm (Literally, I Forgot to Bring Them In) We've had a biblical amount of rain and enough sun to fry an egg on the sidewalk. These guys haven't flinched. The UV coating is legit—no fading, no complaints. They stand there, unbothered and gorgeous, while my real hanging petunias down the way have given up the ghost and now look like a sad salad. The sturdy base keeps them upright in the wind. I half expected to find one of them leaning over like it had a long night, but nope. They’re more resilient than my willpower near a plate of cookies.The Best Part: They're the Low-Maintenance Roommates I Never Had I don't have to water them. They'll never need a trim. They don't drop leaves all over my porch, demanding a cleanup. They are pet-safe, which is good because my dog initially thought they were new, very still squirrels. They are allergen-free, which means my sinuses and I are no longer at war every spring. They just… exist. Beautifully. They require nothing but an occasional dusting, and frankly, even that feels more like a gentle pat of appreciation.Final Verdict: These trees are fantastic. They look real, they were stupidly easy to set up, and they survive my utter neglect. For the price of two, it’s a steal. Plastic looking

These artificial shrubs install very easily and have bendable branches to adjust and fluff to your preference. The base is dark green instead of brown so you will have to cover the base with dirt or mulch. The set comes with a separate spike so you can wither insert it into dirt or just use the base in a planter if you wanted. My only complaint is the material is very artificial looking. If you're using it somewhere no one is going to get very close I say go for it but I would skip it for indoor use in high visibility areas. Fair warning they are a little on the small side but they work for my purposes

Realistic topiary with zero maintenance and easy to place.

These are pretty realistic looking cypress topiary. They have zero maintenance and take little time piecing together because it is putting them in the stakes that they come with. The topiary "fluffs" nicely. It is even a bit pokey which cypress are. I love that they have no water and no maintenance which means they can't die like real plants do. The size is true to what is described. They are really nice topiary for the cost and a good value. The stakes that come with it help the topiary to stay put. I just poke a small hole in a box sitting inside a larger pot and place these in there. They look amazing!

Beautiful realistic bushes

I am very pleased with these artificial Cypress Topiary trees. They come with a sturdy stake that makes them easy to hammer into soil for a secure hold. These are very realistic looking bushes. I placed them in the garden along my front patio and have received compliments on them!You could also place them in a pot of dirt if you want to display them at your front door or on a patio. Quick and helpful addition to long neglected landscaping

In the pictures along with this review, the shorter bushes are the ones from this listing. I don’t intend to fill the entire beds in front of the house with these types of plants, but during a lot of family health issues and travel, the already aged bed was nothing except a couple weeds. Now it has a little shape and cheer, though we have a long way to go. But these faux plants are really an easy and fast boost to a home. They can be challenging to get the posts into the ground straight, and you use your foot and step on the post to get it in or you’ll bend the part that the shrub slides onto. Additionally, with this one unlike a few others I have, there is a large flat circle that you have to cover with rocks or wood chips, which wasn’t a problem since we were using that, anyway, but is something you should know. Especially if you can get this on sale it’s quite worth it as either a quick fix or a way to landscape if you are away and can’t keep shrubs watered and shaped or you or someone in your family needs low-maintenance landscaping.
