This desk clock comes in two separate pieces that you put together. The base and the clock itself. The wood is gorgeous and beautiful to look at. The dates, month, and day are to be changed manually daily. No need to worry about extra moving parts breaking down the line. The clock is accurate after using it for a few weeks now. The clock also runs silent. No ticking noises to distract you from work. The natural wood can easily match any current décor in the home or office and provides a calming feel for me. Being as large as it is, it makes it easy to see the time and dates quite easily, even from a good distance. It’s powered by just one AA battery. Pay attention to where you plan to put this. It is larger than most office desk clocks I’m accustomed to.

Quiet, classy, all around a pretty great little clock with one minor inconvenience.
I actually fell in love with this from the moment I opened it. The only mild irritation, and it is very mild, is that the day is the one on the inner ring. That makes it a little difficult for those with smaller hands like myself to turn it, but if somebody has suggestions on how to do it without thumping every other ring, I'm open to it.The clock itself works perfectly. The wood grain looks great when it's set in the right environment, which we're still trying to find because every time we find the right place, the cat knocks it over, to be honest. We're working with that. There is no workaround the cats, but that's not the fault of the clock. (Would honestly be a little weird to blame it, but some people do.)The size is perfect. You can read it from across the room without it being overly huge or absurdly large, and that's even taking into account that I'm 15 years late on getting new glasses. And noise-wise, it doesn't really make noise, or at least not much that I've been able to hear, unless I'm really close to it. It's just a gentle ticking then, so I really don't see it bothering anyone unless they have better hearing than a guard dog, but I know some people have incredible skills like this, so that's why I bring up the gentle ticking, since some people might not like that despite it being incredibly quiet.All in all, definitely a great purchase. I would say value for the money seems fitting. Overall, very nice little product, especially if you have issues keeping track of days and things like that, and I do.

Such a cute, creative date and clock..
I've been wanting a small 'silent' table clock to set on the TV and be able to see the time across the living room, but no luck at finding one. I decided to give this one a try because it's really pretty and the right style, but at night couldn't always make out where the skinny hands were located. Bought a set of fat hands to replace them with but the openings didn't fit on the shaft. I love craft projects so I decided to see if I could modify it. I removed the hands, glued strips of black paper both on top and bottom of each hand so they would be secure, and trimmed them to shape. Then used a paper punch to cut out little circles of black paper, and glued them on the hours to make them more prominent. I also repainted the wood plain white to cover up the rustic finish, and now it's perfect. Easy to see the time now even in dim lamp light. Very happy there's no glass front which makes it easy to work on. If the clock mechanism ever needs replaced it will be super easy to do, I intend to use this the rest of my life :=) I love it!

Quality of materials is not what I expected.
I really like the overall look and concept of this 2-in-1 wooden desk clock and manual flip calendar. The wood design is beautiful and blends well with many decor options.
