I absolutely love this holder! The only points I would add, which clearly dont prevent my 5 star rating would be: i wish there was a lil notch or something to hold the brush. Just so it doesnt run off. Actually thats all I have. I love it. Maybe different colors in time.If you burn incense, you need this. Its clean, nice to look at.. get one!
This is a nice incense holder for stick incense. There are two glasses which fit into recessed areas on a well finished wooden base. One of the glasses fits quite snugly but the other has a looser fit. While my preference would be the security of a tighter fit, the slight play in the other is not a major concern, just take care when moving the holder from one location to another.I have not used it yet, but supposedly the shorter glass, which is a little over 3" tall is the one which per description photos is intended to catch the ash from the incense. As the stick burns shorter that could be quite a drop for ash as the alligator clip is almost 9 1/2" tall above the base, placing it about 6 1/2" above the rim of the shorter glass, so I wonder whether all ash will hit its mark. The taller glass is almost 6" so the clip clears the rim by only 4" and might be the one I decide is better for catching ash, but I will give the shorter glass a try before I decide which is preferable.The reason for two glasses is that one is for catching ash and the other for keeping incense sticks readily available and the shorter glass may not hold a supply of sticks very well as they will tend to lean quite a bit, however, it is perfect for the cleaning brush that is provided with this incense holder.The base is a wooden oval shape, stained in a warm brown, and measures almost 6" x 2 3/4", the middle being tapered in very slightly which makes for an easier grip. The bottom is smooth and flat. It arrives with no padding nor felt for surface protection but my opinion is there is little danger of surface damage with this base, although feet or felt can always be applied if desired.The metal rod fits securely into a predrilled hole between the two glasses and toward the back of the base, and is held firmly in place. It has a 90 degree bend at the top which holds an alligator clip which is securely fastened in place with very little movement, but can still be twisted enough to get an incense stick centered in the glass ash catcher.This is a nice incense holder which should perform well. The included cleaning brush is appreciated.
My mom loves to burn incense but honestly, I don't think she's ever owned a real incense holder for the sticks. The last time she burned one was when it clicked that she's been crumpling foil to catch the ashes and either using something not meant to hold the sticks or making some wonky thing and hoping for the best.Not having an actual holder with an ash catcher means ash gets everywhere. I saw this, and it's a really great alternative to not only her 'crafting' but really, for almost every other one I've seen. The banana-style looks nice and holds the stick in use but has nowhere for the unused sticks to be stored. This solves that with two glass containers, one tall for the sticks and one short to catch the ashes.It's a nice wooden base with divots for the glasses so they stay firmly in place and a metal holder with a clip on the end to hold the stick in use. I really like that it's vertical versus horizontal because it takes up much less space on the table and the wooden base keeps anything that might fall from touching the table. The ashes fall neatly into the glass, which can hold quite a lot of it, so there's no need to constantly monitor the amount of ashes to dump. The taller glass can hold quite a few unused sticks.Overall, it's a nice looking piece. It's sturdy, made to last, and with the clip being the thing that holds the burning stick, there's no worry about different size sticks not fitting in the hole of the holder like in the banana style. It also comes with a little soft brush for brushing away any random ashes and also for cleaning out the ash cup without having to wet it and worry about the next batch of ashes sticking in it.
This is a fantastic incense holder. Stylish and functional, the piece comes with two glass cups, one for storing incense stick and one to catch the ash. It’s definitely convenient, and I love that I can keep my sticks right there where I burn them.The holder comes with a stylish wood base to hold the cups and two glass cups. The shorter cup is to collect ash and the taller holds the sticks. It also has a gold metal rod with a clip at the end where you secure the stick. I like the clip because I can use incense sticks with different thicknesses, and they all fit. It also comes with a short brush to clear away ash. I do wish the brush were a bit longer so it would be easier to access if put in the incense cup.I’m so happy with this incense holder. It’s stylish and chic, it’s easy to clean and is less messy than my other incense burners, and the incense burns evenly and at a good rate. I also like that the incense sticks are readily available (the sticks don’t come with the product) because it makes the area smell nice even when I’m not burning anything.
I ordered this 2 in 1 incense holder made of wood, glass and metal. It's really well made and I love how nice the materials look. The fan brush is a nice touch. Its aesthetically pleasing and works perfectly. Easy to assemble, all you need is the incense. The clip is inserted into the hole and fits snug. It's strong and the incense stick doesn't move. The glass sets inside the wood with no gaps or misaligned routing. Its a fantastic value for the money and a gift to give anyone. For the storage capacity, one of the sticks asses fills maybe 1/30th of the small glass container. So you don't have to clean it every time but it is easy to clean. The glass is sturdy - not super thick or thin. The tall glass can fit maybe 50 standard sticks. There's more than enough storage. It depends on the size of incense you buy.
