Perfect frame for 12x16 diamond art on canvas!
I purchased this frame in the hopes of using it for my recently completed diamond art canvas that I bought at Hobby Lobby. I particularly liked the inside depth of the frame. I had to adjust the inserts that were around the inner perimeter, but that wasn’t a big issue. All in all I am extremely pleased with the quality of the frame and the way it looks on my wall. It was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I highly recommend this frame.

12"x16"x1" Enclosed Frame (Intended Purpose: Canvas Paintings).
My initial purchase here was for the 12"x16"x1" frame. It was clearly stated "The INSIDE Dimensions were 12" x 16". This made sense b/c the Stated Outer Dimensions were larger numbers.My intended purpose for this/these Enclosed Frame(s) is to Encase my Canvas Paintings in a Fully-Closed Frame with a Clear Front. These Frames 'Fit The Bill' 100% of that requirement. (I do not consider these anything close to the slur "Shadow Boxes" b/c these are "Fully Enclosed". (Thank You! )However, upon receiving my 12"x16" Frame, I immediately discovered that my 12"x16" Canvas Painting could NOT Fit inside. The Reason was Obvious: The Mfg had installed a Perimeter of a Super-Stick sandwich of 'Paper-Foam-Paper around the Interior. This made the resultant "Usable Interior Dimensions" closer to 11-1/2" x 15-1/2".This 'Ring' of Paper&Foam was very difficult to 'Cut & Gut OUT' from the inside of my new Frame; even when using my trusty knife. After finally getting all of that Fluff "Ripped Out", Then I tried to Fit my Canvas again. This time it FIT. However 'the Fit' was very much the "Shoe-Spoon" type of Fit. NOTE to Those intending to Frame their Canvas: If your Canvas Painting doesn't seem to 'Fit' (going into this Frame), then Rotate either the Canvas or the Frame and try again; it may be a bit of a snug fit even after you've removed that Paper-Foam Sandwich.The Frame and All of it's Parts (Especially The Corners) were Clean, Crisp, and Sharp. The Glass Panel is Not the Heavy Hardened Glass type. Instead it is one of these newfangled Hi-Tech Ultra-Thin, Ultra-Clear, Acrylic or Polycarbonate types, which should workout very nicely. Just by looking at it, you'd swear it was Real Glass.All in all: 'Very Nice Job' - Sorta-like the 'Timeless Plain Elegance' of a Black Tux.If this type of Frame has any short-comings - it would be one of those Personal Preference Things. I would like to see them further-develop this Frame with a better means of 'Hanging', instead of the "Included little Sawtooth Hanger". I dislike those very much b/c in order to 'Hide' your Wall Hanger, you MUST use a Single Nail in the Wall. And I really Hate that. In any case, with this type of Hanger, the Frame will NEVER be able to "Fit-Flush" against the Wall. (and most likely it will constantly be Cocking or Rocking one way or the other). (And then finally,,, the 'Single Nail Hanger' will inevitably work-loose, and Everything will come "Crashing Down").To the Mfg: You're producing a Terrific Product here. "Work on these Finer Points to make'em even Better".

Nice frame for shadow box but internal dimensions are slightly smaller than advertised.
This 'would have been' perfect for my Scotland country map project.Nice solid frame.The back has typical photo frame metal tabs, so it's relatively easy to open / assemble.It comes with lightweight hanging hardware which may not be suitable for heavier projects.The big issue I have is the product information is not entirely accurate;"INTERIOR FRAME SIZE: 24x36 Inches (60x90 cm), ..."While the internal width of the wood frame is 24x36 there is a 3/16" foam strip used to retain the front plastic cover sheet. This makes the inside closer to 23 3/4" inches by 35 3/4". So, the precisely cut 24x36 1/4 thick plexiglass dividers I planned to put in this to create depth between photos and a map in the background is a no go for now.Other than that, it's nice frame.

Attractive with a Price to Match
Conclusion: Nice looking and built well, but a bit pricey.Although there is not interior box, it has instead a sturdy frame with a flat back panel of a heavy weight card stock. After removing the flat cover, the interior is accessible. The heavy, clear acrylic sheet is held in place with 1/8" thick white foam strips wrapped around the interior under the frame's overhang. About 1/16th of this frame covers the foam.Overall, it is well made, although I reinforced the cardboard back cover with another piece of heavy 18x12 watercolor paper.

Misrepresented, incomplete and overpriced
The shadow box is the perfect size for what I wanted. I was specifically looking for a small box to hang. That being said, I would have expected a predrilled hole or a pre attached sawtooth hanger. It came with neither. Instead a very tiny 1-inch wide sawtooth hanger was taped to the box. No predrilled holes on frame or sawtooth hanger. Inquiries to site for suggestions to attach was answered with hammer the hanger onto the frame. This isn’t practical. The chances if smashing the frame or glass cover cannot be overlooked. In addition, considering the materials used and the incomplete assembly, it cost much more than it was worth. Very unhappy with product and cannot recommend this vendor to others. The marks on the frame photo were from a sharpie as I was trying to figure out how/ where to attach the hanger

Highly recommend - exactly as described
Purchased 24x30 which is not a super common size. Arrived in time,packaging was perfect, not one Nick or mar on the wood. The backing is thick-I actually painted the backing and mounted my artwork on it and the backing is sturdy enough to support without bending etc. film on plexiglass is very functional and easy to remove. One big difference I’ve noticed from other shadow boxes is that it did not take me forever to get every little piece of dust off the inside of the plexiglass and there is no smear marks from cleaning and no glare really. This brand must use high quality plexi. Very pleased.
