The pansies are very beautiful, they look almost like real ones. The colors are bright, the stems are strong, perfect for the planters at the entrance.They withstand rain and sun well, look neat and lush.
I’m really loving these colorful pansy flowers. As of yet, I haven’t put them into any containers, but I know they will look great when I do. I specifically got these because they are for outdoors. We live I Florida, and just recently went through a prolonged hard freeze not seen here in decades. Needless to say, we lost many of our tropical plants that surround the pool. Years ago, I used to occasionally buy some artificial flowers for this area. They rarely held up well. Now I know why. I had no idea that they even made some with the outdoors in mind. These are made from UV-resistant and weather-resistant materials. Excellent.I ordered the red, white, and purple mix, but I think many of the other combinations are also very appealing. I may have to get some more.Along with the outdoor durability, they also offer the appeal of not having to water them. I understand that depending where you live will dictate how often you have to water. But during our hottest months (about 6) I must water my potted plants daily or they start to wilt. This has become a burden, so I am looking to cut back on how many I must maintain.Then there are other problems with real plants that these will never have. They do not need to be fertilized and they will never have a pest problem. Currently many of my Crown of Thorns plants have a white fly infestation. I am so over it.So, in addition to them being no maintenance, they are very pretty. I tried to take several pictures to show how realistic they look. I will say that my camera makes the purple look slightly more vibrant when in reality, the purple is deeper with a slight blueish undertone, looking even more life-like than my picture indicates.These are large stems and can be use in pots, vases, or cut into smaller pieces for a door wreath. Each stem is full enough to be used by itself, or if you are filling a very large container, they can be use together. I will likely get 3 or more containers out of this set.In my haste to get some pictures taken, I didn’t think to show that they are bendable. Each single stem can be bent in any direction to mimic how an actual plant might grow. This is essential for a realistic look.These cost $24.99 at the time of my order, which translates to $4.17 for each stem. Generally, that is an excellent price for the size and quality of what you are receiving.
This review is for a 6-piece set of 17" artificial pansies (in multiple color variations, see pictures for different sets). These flowers come tightly packed and need to be opened up careful to remove the outer cover without damaging the silk (plastic) flowers. As said in the description, this set does not include a pot, so you need to provide one. The flowers are about 17" tall with their stem taking up about half the length, I went with a pot about 8-9" deep. This is important so that the flowers are not sunk deep into the pot and also not standing up so high that they lean over too much. Keep in mind that there are only 6 bunches, so you don't want a very wide vase. Each of the 6 individual bunches needs to be fluffed up a bit after opening to make them appear more lifelike (not difficult to do) - don't be disappointed when you first seem them all tightly compacted - it gets much better. Since there are three different colors (2 stems of each color for total of 6), you need to arrange them so that the colors are spaced apart a bit - helps give it more of an arranged feeling. I love having these silk flowers because they can be placed anywhere inside without having to worry about whether they are going to get sufficient sunlight and whether I'll remember to water them correctly. You just fluff them up, put them into a pot or a vase, and they "live" for years. The vibrant colors brighten up any room and just makes my place look better. I do have plenty of real plants outside (all on watering timers) but for inside, artificial is absolutely the best way to go. If I'm having special company over I will even take the effort to enhance these a little with some scented oils so they not only look great but add the smell of fresh flowers. Some may call that a little cheesy, but it has a good effect - everyone loves walking into a room that looks bright and has a nice aroma. I definitely recommend getting these. They aren't the old fashioned fake flowers you may remember your grandmother having - these look real and unless you look / touch closely, you wouldn't know they aren't real. Given that you only have to buy these once, they are a great value for money - even a single set of freshly cut flowers could run a similar amount.
This is a review of Brlita 17 Inch Artificial Faux Pansy Flowers. It came with 6 bunches: two of each flower color. This will fill a very large basket, like maybe 14", or two smaller 10" baskets if you will take the bunches and spread them out just a bit. The flowers are pretty colors and do look like pansies, but if you are a gardener you'll see the difference. It doesn't dampen their appeal though and these can be very charming when you want to brighten up a spot and not have to worry about watering or deer wandering buy and snacking on them. AND the best part...you can't kill them, and they aren't susceptible to bugs! BIG win!They did have a slight odd smell when opening, probably coming from the plastic leaves. The leaves are two-toned and resemble boxwood leaves to me. But the colors are quite nice! Because of the plastic and fabric colors, I'm not going to use these in full sun, but put them in pots in a shaded spot so that they do not fade or become damaged by the heat here in Texas. I'm hoping they'll be longer lasting that way! I think they will be fairly durable given this treatment.For the current price of $24.99, it may seem a bit high for artificial flowers, but then again, they don't require care and won't be eaten or infested by pests and they should fill two 10" size baskets, so not bad!
