A little pricy, but great if you want UV-resistant greenery to supplement an arrangement.

I recently received this "10 PCS Artificial Hanging Plants 82cm Hanging Boston Ferns Plastic Fake Hanging Plants for Wall Room Garden Wedding Garland Indoor Outdoor Decoration" and while I cannot say they are the most authentic-looking up close, they are reasonably convincing from a distance and are a nice addition to my porch decor.These arrived decently packaged with each set of fern fronds enclosed in its own plastic bag. Individually, the leaves aren't very full, so clustering these into groups is probably a good idea. I'm using these as "spillover" in some large standing pots - a way to add visual interest to the planter without it becoming a top-heavy piece prone to tipping. Because these are more like background or ground-cover for my setup, it's not a huge deal that the leaves look kind of plastic and I'm hopeful that will mean they last longer. They are UV-resistant, after all, and sun damage is the thing that forces my hand when it comes to replacing/updating my faux arrangements.I would not personally recommend these fern fronds as a stand-alone plant. I like them as filler, as background, and I'm pretty happy with the way they move in the breeze. As a build-it-yourself single plant, I think this set is too expensive and doesn't end up with the same kind of "authentic" or "organic" feel that a single artificial fern might be able to offer.If you're looking for a single, robust, fern plant, this probably isn't the best option in my opinion. However, if you're wanting to supplement an arrangement or need some long, draping fern fronds to use as an accent, these are great. The bundle of 10 pieces was priced at $19.99 when I placed my order. I think they're a little expensive, but they're meeting my faux-gardening need and did not fail meeting my expectations, so I'm happy recommending these to others.

Fake looking

These have pros and cons. While they come with a lot of pieces (probably enough for two plants) the quality is a little lacking. They look okay from afar but with a closer eye you notice it’s a little waxy looking and too monochrome. It needs some more deeper color variation and some kind of matte spray to make it look a little more realistic. It also has a strong chemical smell that gave me a headache before airing it out. Not my favorite but I could see it working for some people.

Cute Enough, But Overpriced

These ferns look great when bunched together, but you'd need to bunch at least 6-8 of them to make them full enough to look like one plant, so a bunch of 10 will give you 2 anemic looking ferns for roughly $35, or one really nice looking fern for $35. You can find a lot of other options on Amazon that offer more plants at a signnificantly reduced price. These would be fine if they were $12-$15 for a 10-pack. But not worth more than that.

Holding up well on an outdoor pool deck

These look so real out on our screened in pool deck! And they never need watering, so I don't have to get on a ladder to water them. We've had real ones hanging out there before, but they shed when it rains and if it doesn't rain, they need watering, like I mentioned.They just need a little fluffing and we put some rocks in the bottom of the planters just to keep them steady and from blowing around too much, which might cause them to lose parts if it's too windy out, but so far, so good. The color is a light green, but they just look like healthy, real plants. I think they'll stand up to the test of time pretty well, and I'm not planning on taking them down, even during hurricane season, so we'll see! They're such good quality that I might buy another set for the front porches.
