REAL moss - good for dirt cover in potted plants

"Artificial Moss, 18OZ Fake Moss for Crafts" isn't fake moss. It's real moss that's been dried. Personally, that was a HUGE problem for my allergies, so -1 star for that.That being said, it retains water well enough and looks nice as dirt cover in potted plants. It also adds a touch of realism in fake flower pots.Did I find a use for it? Yes!Would I order it again? No, especially not for $17. You can by much better moss and / or actual artificial moss for that.It's really up to what you need it for, though. :)

Not for moss wall art, but perfect as bedding around plants

I've been getting a lot of moss for DIY projects around my house, and this one is much browner than the others I've gotten. You can take this one of two ways; browner is more natural for moss because it's not artificially dyed, or the color is dull and boring. For me, at first I looked at it as dull and boring, as I was trying to create wall art with it, but really, that's not what this is meant for. It's not reindeer moss, it's not colorful, it's not meant to be the centerpiece. When I accepted this, I realized that it was much better as a cover for the dirt around my plants. And for this, it's really perfect. It's subdued and doesn't detract from the plants, and it gives them a beautiful and neutral natural bedding.
