From a distance, this looks just like Liriope, commonly known as Monkey Grass!

In person, these YILIUFA artificial liriope plants look amazingly real from a distance! Up close, like in a centerpiece pot on your outdoor dining table, I don't think these fit the bill because it's really clear that they are plastic. They look and feel like plastic, because they are! The bonus is that they are waterproof and don't fade in direct sun like many "silk" plants made of synthetic fabric materials.I find it attractive to keep some of the bundles intact, like they come, and spread out the branches of others, as they look more realistic when all the plants don't look exactly alike. Even though there are 16 bundles (plus two stems of butterflies), they aren't super thick so for a large pot, planter, or area you will want to purchase several lots.While hearty, native plants would always be first choice, these YILIUFA artificial plants a great solution for filling in beds in extreme cold or heat, instead of having the spaces empty or constantly having to replace plants that can't stand up to the temperatures or elements. I also like using these for adding color in a bed of plants that is not currently blooming.The stalks are extremely easy to "plant" and "un-plant" - just stick into the soil or into your vase, and pull out to remove. You can easily move them to another location or to storage until the next season. They stay put even in outdoor windy conditions. I highly recommend these plants for outdoor use on their own or mixed with real plants, when the viewing will be from a distance like window boxes that someone can see from the street.

Perfect to bring in the spring

**Update: I popped these into my herb garden container this March. I didn’t include the yellow butterflies, and my husband asked me if they had come up naturally or if I had planted them there. He was very surprised when I told him that they were artificial. I was very surprised at how real these looked when they were put into the container. They look like the first little bluebells that would come up in the spring! Excellent!**These artificial outdoor plant bundles are perfect for situations where it’s not really warm enough to grow something or the danger frost has not yet passed, but you’re really yearning for warm weather and craving a nice bright green spot. These will give you that spring feeling a little early. I’ve also had some planters that no matter what I plant in them, it seems like nothing will really grow well. I’m not sure if it’s location or if it’s the soil, but these are perfect for situations like that. I have a large white pot at my Airbnb that I’ve planted multiple things in, and they all seem to just kind of stagnant. It’s a large pot and I want to keep it, but I need it to look pretty and lush so I’m thinking that when it warms up a bit, I’ll throw these into that pot and we will have some beautiful greenery that doesn’t depend on my green thumb. They have such a pretty Springtime feel to them. They look like they’ll be very durable, as long as you don’t leave them out all winter long, where the plastic can get really brittle and start breaking. I would pull them in when it starts to get really cold if you live in an area that has deep freezes, maybe store them in the garage and then put them back out again as it warms up.These come in a box in bundles, and on first inspection they look very plasticky, however, it’s the underside that look plastic and shiny, and the stems which will go in the ground anyway and not be visible. The top side of the plant leaves what is the part that you are looking at anyway, and they look great.

Love the look with the Monkey Grass

I ordered these YILIUFA Artificial Plant bundles to serve as accents to existing plants. Although, these don't scream realistic when up close, when coupled with live plants and greenery they'll blend right in. They are a tad smaller than expected but once fluffed and separated they look quite nice even as a stand alone. The colors are vibrant and natural which give an authentic look from afar. I'm a fan of the monkey grass look since it spikes up and creates a good filler with some height. I like that they're a plastic material to prolong durability and allowsL for easy clean up if needed. They're also UV protected and hopefully won't fade much so they can be used for a few growing seasons here in Michigan. Overall, the quality seems decent and the price is quite reasonable for 16 bundles. The small butterfly stakes are an added plus that can accent these or be used elsewhere. Versatility is also a plus since they can be used both indoors and out.
