Good strength for velvet curtains

A good design which supports the weight of velvet curtains, but I wish the wall mount threading had the bracket oriented "up" (set screw on top) when screwed onto the mount. For proper strength the mounts should be installed with 2 screws at the top and 1 at the bottom, and this has their (inconsistent) threading resulting in the bracket's set screw ending on the bottom or a side. In my case this didn't matter (except for convenience of tightening the screws) because the brackets are concealed behind the curtains. Grommet curtains do catch on the rod seams slightly, but not as much as tapered adjustable rods. (Unfortunately, one of the terminating rod sections IS tapered and you need to use it for the finial, so curtains DO catch in that one spot.) One important item of note - check all your parts before discarding the packaging or starting on your install. One of my brackets was missing the wall mount. This didn't impact me because it ended up being an extra unneeded bracket for my curtains configuration, but if I had needed all the brackets I'd be needing to return for exchange.

Stronger Than Expected

These curtain rods are surprisingly solid. Once installed, they feel extremely sturdy and do not flex or sag. Honestly, they are strong enough that you could probably do pull ups on them without worrying. The adjustable length works well and installation was straightforward. Definitely heavier duty than most rods I have used. Solid buy.
