This crochet butterfly is cute, the yarn is nice, and it had no odor at all. The little sign is glued to the hands. I like the saying on the sign. What I do not like is the face is off. The eyes do not appear to look straight forward and the mouth is slightly off. This combined with the slight turn of the head makes the top look off. Also the butterfly must lay flat unless you come up with a way to stand it up. I am going to use a little clothespin or small safety on. You could glue a clip on the back or a magnet would also work. It depends on what you think the recipient wants to do with it. Many put these on their backpacks and you cannot do that with this one. I think the price is average . It did come with an organza bag to give as a gift. That is a nice touch.
