I am very pleased with the quality of these wood frames. I needed a simple black wood frame for a project I was working on, and this more than meets my needs. Well made, attractive—and they come with a bonus—two sizes of pre/cut white mats. Well worth the money for the quality and versatility!

Nice quality frames and mats
Let's face it - We've all been guilty of buying prints and then forgetting to actually frame them. I had a couple of 10x10 art prints sitting around that I’ve been meaning to frame. Enter the UMICAL 12x12 Picture Frames set.Crafted from fairly nice wood, the frames have a certain charm that can complement any home decor. There's a bit of an industrial feel to the frames, which I personally find quite appealing.But here's the winning feature - the mats. They come in two sizes that fit my 10x10 prints perfectly. This flexibility is excellent, particularly if you're a chronic art buyer like me who frequently has prints of various dimensions lying around.Installation? Pretty easy-peasy. These frames come with pre-attached hangers and a kickstand, so you can either hang them on the wall or display them on a shelf.Now, for the not-so-perfect part. They come with HD Plexiglass and I prefer glass. It’s okay though. Both allow a clear view of the artwork, protecting them from dust and damage.In a nutshell, the UMICAL 12x12 Picture Frames are a good fit for anyone looking to jazz up their space with some framed art. They're sturdy, versatile, and add just the right amount of chic to your decor. Just be patient with that protective film and you're all set to showcase your favorite art pieces!
I have a photo wall of black frames with white mats to display black and white family photos. Most of the frames came from IKEA, but I was looking for some different sizes. These were perfect…very nice quality and look great on the wall. I like how they can accommodate different size photos as it gives me more flexibility. Would definitely order these again.
Easy to use…framed diamond painting
These look great in the pictures, but the devil is in the details. The frame is real wood and the grain shows through the paint which lends a quality look. It’s also a nice that it’s double matted, but the board is about 1/16 inch thick. The mattes don’t provide any depth and look…cheap. The mattes are bright white, which is fine if that’s what you want. Just know what you’re getting…it was terribly mismatched with my shade of white walls. The clear plastic looks okay, but it is extremely thin as well. The depth of the frame is only 1/2 inch which contributes to the budget feel of the frames. I selected these more expensive frames (than many) because I hoped the cost would equate to higher quality. It did not in my opinion.
