Amazed that it came with everything in one box: hurricane cylinder sleeves, candle holders, and candles. No need to buy additional items! The hurricane sleeves are strong, because I accidentally bumped one with a box, and it fell without shattering.The taper candles are elegant but prone to tipping. The wax spilled over and got on the hurricane sleeves, which was a bit of a pain to scrape off and clean. The only thing I would change is to look for different taper candles that last longer and drip less.

Really good product, frustrated with the packing

The only bad things I can say about these is that i got a bunch of cuts on my hands because these came covered in glass shards and dust and I had to throw the boxes away that they came in because the glass was embedded in parts of the box and my finger got slit open from it. So I have no way to store these so they stay the safest they can stay. Thats really frustrating for me and almost made me give it 1 out of 5 stars, but the fact that they came totally intact and not chipped or cracked or broken and they are really pretty and work really well, saved the score. They are a very good product.The candles that comes with it dont fit very good, but if you know how to stick candles in their holders then they are fine. If not, just light the candle and drip the hot wax into to holder then place the base of the candle into the holder and hold until the hot wax cools and makes the candle stand straight.These are beautiful and the glass isn't flimsy at all. I'm not sure why my package came with broken glass shards all over the inside of the box, maybe somthing else broke in the warehouse and somehow got into the box before it was sealed. All I know is none of the glass dust or shards was from my own set of hurricane candles.The picture I posted with the silver candle is to show that the coated thick taper candles work best and fit well. These candle holders are not for super tiny skinny candles, they are for your regular taper candles. And they stand alone and the glass tube is placed over them, that way you can choose whether you want to use or not, this will make it very easy to clean. Make sure you have a decent length drying tool, I used a swiffer duster wrapped in a paper towel to dry my tube's out after I washed them of the glass dust and shards.I wish they had come with a box I could store them in and that I hadn't had to get cut on. I would have given this 5 stars and a totally positive raving review because these are really neat hurricane candles.I pray you get yours without this issue. I think you will highly enjoy them. Just be careful opening the box and maybe do it in your garage to keep from getting glass shards in your carpet or house anywhere. I had to vacuum my carpet and sweep and go crazy making sure my families feet wouldn't get cut up by the glass shards that fell out of the box while I was opening it and carrying it from room to room.
