Really pretty with nice long wires
My butterflies arrived nicely packaged flat in plastic for protection. The wires are thin and flexible, perfect for gently attaching to a wreath, bouquet or hairpiece. Each wire comes bent into a loop and all you need to do to get the full eleven inches in wire length is to carefully unbend the wires and straighten. The butterflies themselves have the wire attached into the fabric back of the body so they won't come apart easily. Also, you can gently shape the wings to give the butterflies more of a 3D affect, so it looks like they are just about to flutter off. I love the bright colors; very vibrant orange and yellow accented with black and white. These really give a bright pop of color in a green wreath. These would also be so cute in an infant's pictures, with the baby wrapped up in a cocoon and butterflies all around. I'm really happy with these very versatile butterflies and I'd love to get some in every color. Maybe they would consider offering a larger package with several of each color. I'd definitely purchase a 36-pack if it contained one dozen of three different colors. These are made of lightweight fabric suitable for use inside or in a protected area outside. Very cute and I'm enjoying them on dreary, grey winter afternoons perched in my plants.

Beautiful, bendable butterflies.
These butterflies exceeded my expectations. The surface on the wings is ever so slightly textured, almost as if it is micro-flocked, and that gives them a much more realistic look. The print details are intricate and look natural even though they are not incredibly high resolution. They really don’t need to be. I don’t know that they are modeled after real butterflies but they are lovely. The colors are perfect for my purposes.Because there are wires in the wings they can be posed and that really brings them to life. Their little fuzzy bodies are much less icky than the real deal; I appreciate that they forewent realism there. Who collects butterflies for their bodies anyway? ;)These would be great in bouquets, indoor planters (avoid getting them wet) or anywhere a bit of joyful color is needed. With twelve in a pack you could butterfly bomb public spaces by leaving them wrapped around random fixtures to brighten someone’s day.
