Some of them just refused to work at all.
About half of them tried acting like they would not work, but after kinda flicking them a dozen times, the number that came out of the box not working we got down to just like 2, which is still not great.The ones that work are fine, the flicker, and they are bright enough.They are the right size, but the value for them is not what I was hoping for.If they came out of the box working, and none were DOA then I would say 10/10, but the experience here was a little lacking

Quality set of tealights with relaxing ambient light
I love these little tealight candles! I have a lot of glass votives that I like to scatter around my house but because I have a couple of precocious kitties I never put real tealight candles in them...I don't know about you, but I prefer not to burn my house down!! :-) Over time I have purchased a few different kinds of tealight candles but none of them have provided the amount of light I'd like nor have they had a flickering effect, so when I saw these, I liked the flickering flame feature, so I ordered them. They arrived in a box that fit all 12 candles nicely and already had the batteries installed; they take a CR2032 3V battery. I was concerned about some or all of them not working because they didn't have those little pull-tabs inserted under the battery that prevent the battery from making the connection until you remove them, but I tested all of them and they worked just like the product photos. One thing that is different about this set than others I have purchased is that they do not come with a remote, so you will have to switch each one on when ready to use them. That really isn't a big deal for me because the candles that are remote operated require that you initially switch them into the "on" position for the remote to work, so the only difference is that you will have to switch each candle off when done using them instead of just pressing a remote button. The candles definitely do not look real in appearance, but if you put them in something that is translucent enough for the light to come through, but disguises the actual candle, it is difficult to tell that they are not real. These candles have a smooth body and dip a bit in the center to mimic the look of a candle that is melting. The wick looks pretty realistic, but the flame is clearly fake, that is to be expected though. The light from the flame is a warm white, similar to that of a real flame and when lit kind of brightens and dims and flickers to mimic the look of a real flame. It does look very realistic inside of a votive. The one and only downside to this set is the price...I think it is a little high compared to other similar products on the market. That being said, I still think this set of tealight candles is great and I would come back to order additional sets because they are better quality than other sets I previously ordered.

These are so pretty! I have a lot of different LED tealights, and these are definitely some of the better ones. For the price I would have hoped they came with a remote, but they are still really nice. If you intend on using these regularly, I cannot recommend because they don't have a remote, however if you don't mind turning them all on individually then they're great.

Great Little Lights – Warm, Realistic Glow
I’ve gone through a lot of flameless tea lights over the years, and these are some of the best. The “flame” has a nice flicker that actually looks somewhat natural from a distance, and the warm tone of the light is really pleasant — not that harsh blue-white like some others.The batteries have lasted longer than I expected so far, and I love that you get twelve in a pack.
