So pretty! And heavy duty

I forgot what kind of frame I ordered, so when I opened the box I was expecting a plain wood frame. I was pleasantly surprised to see this really pretty, heavy duty, "floating" frame. The frame itself has a pretty, but subtle design; nothing that would distract from whatever you put in. The glass is recessed from the front (thus the "floating" effect). The frame is heavier than expected. The clips on the back for securing the glass and for mounting are all well made. I'm looking forward to putting this up as soon as I finish painting!

So lovely!

This frame is absolutely gorgeous! The plastic material of the 'glass' area is actually quite nice. It came without any scratches which I was kind of worried about! It's lightweight which makes it nice to hang. You can use adhesive to keep the photo in place, but honestly I didn't need to use anything extra. It was easy to use and put together. Functional and beautiful!

Beautiful picture frame

This is a beautiful and elegant picture frame. I love how the picture floats in the frame. The glass is real and looks amazing. The wood does look good but, it is not sealed so it feels very rough to the touch. The color of the wood is very rustic and the glass adds a modern look to it. Making it a very unique design and a great size. It is both beautiful and functional, the perfect addtion for any home.I could stand it up straight but, it was very unstable. One small nudge and it would fall over. Not good considering it is real glass that can shatter. I would just make sure to hang it up and not put it standing on a table unless you are sure no one could bump into it. It didn't come with any hardware so make sure you have nails or something if you want to hang it. You can hang it vertically or horizontally, very easy to use. It is a high quality picture frame so considering that the price is good in my opinion.

Not worth 40 bucks!

It’s just okay. For over $40 dollars I expect something a little nicer. The wood is raw, which is fine but bits of it are splintery which I don’t love. Also the two pieces of wood don’t fit well together. The back piece is smaller than the front so it can sit behind the front frame but when you close all the latches it doesn’t hold the the back piece secure so whatever photo you put in it will move unless you tape it to the back glass which I didn’t want to do because they are paper prints I purchased off Amazon and if I decide in the future to frame them differently then it will be hard to pull the tape off the paper. 😕 I will probably print up some photos at Walgreens for this so if it gets damaged I won’t be sad. I wouldn’t buy this again for 40 bucks. Maybe half that.

High Quality Wood Frame

This 11x14 pine wood picture frame from the Wontree store is really a very high quality product. The pine wood is really beautiful and the back clasps to hold the glass in position are robust. The picture frame is elegant enough that it can be hung in a formal room. It can be hung either vertically or horizontally so it is very flexible. The floating picture frame is cool but you don’t need to have this feature in your picture. It was packaged very well. A perfect gift for a loved one.

Beautiful rustic floating frame

This is a beautiful frame made of real wood and glass - I love the floating look! It’s unique and classy, and I’m excited to find the right image for it! The wood is a beautiful medium to light color with a slightly rustic finish up close, but when you move farther back the color lightens up. Our home is quite modern but I still feel like I’ll be able to find a good place for this frame! Mine came with a fairly significant rough patch on it. The interior edges are beveled - they’ve been sanded and smoothed, and it creates a contrast with outer edges which are unsanded, giving it a different texture and color. The one other thing I’d consider, I like to hang pictures on hooks, but because the image is surrounded by glass the hanging hardware is right on the edge of the frame, which makes the hook visible! So you’ll have to rely on a screw or nail head and then maybe get creative with some command strips if you’d like a little extra security. If you don’t mind that and the rustic roughness around the edges, this is a good quality, beautiful floating frame!
