A cozy cypress, a temple fragrane, but refined and not overwhelming. Great burn time.
This vendor makes well-presented incense sets, with loads of information about their various scents. I think the price is primarily for presentation here, as I find the cypress, though cozy like a wooden chest, to be fairly standard and not really so different as to pay over 30 dollars for a mere 15 grams wrapped in paper. I enjoy it very much, however, in the afternoon for a meditation or with a book and some tea. It burns for about 45 minutes, as they are slightly longer than my other cypress sticks (the same scent and considerably cheaper). You might buy something like this as a gift, if you are an incense aficionado, because you can find essentially the same quality of scent in bulk for much less. The little rock is nice as a stand, but the ash goes everywhere, of course, so you'll need to set it on some tray anyway. But! I still offer this set a 4 for presentation and the long burn time with little to no smoke--I'm not sure I'd be back to buy the other scents at this price point, but maybe you don't mind the markup. I think it's nicely done!
