Perfect for my use
Very nice, well constructed curtains. I have a southern window that lets in a LOT of light (and heat as the summer sun bears down) but did not want to mount permanent curtains with rods and all. My solution was to press these steel bronze colored thumbtacks :https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7ZSWHNN?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1into the wall then attach this curtain to those tacks with magnets. That is for the warm months where I want to block the heat. Now it is winter and I WANT the heat so I just slide (don't PULL the magnets because it will also pull out the tack) the magnets off and remove the curtain. The tacks just look like nice dots on the wall, not obtrusive at all when the curtain is not there. So for me these worked out great - good quality materials that block the light (and heat) well when needed but easy to remove when you want. 5 stars for quality, functionality, and very decent price.

So far so good!
I did a lot of looking around, checking reviews for similar stick-on curtains, and decided to give these a try based on the reviews. Just got them and hung them up today, and so far, I’m very happy with them! Even though they’re a very light color, they have that backing that still blocks a lot of light; light really only gets in at the edges, so they seem to be doing just as well as my previous heavy-duty, darkly colored blackout curtains that screwed into the wall. I appreciate not having to put holes in the wall for these! So simple to set up, and doing the ruffle-y effect thing makes them look more classy.

Fantastic, inexpensive solution to afternoon sun!
Bought these instead of expensive blinds for our bay window panes that get full afternoon sun. They are so easy to install and have stayed up for a few months already! At one point, one of the tapes did droop a bit, but I pressed it back up and it’s stayed ever since. I bought clear plastic clips to adjust the height of each curtain as needed. These are a great, inexpensive solution!

Press hard, it works great. Don't forget to calculate overlap for a more secure light free room.
The tape needs to be pressed very hard onto the wall and the curtain onto that. There needs to be at least a few inches of overlap to prevent light penetration. There is no vertical velcro, so you can't attach the sides of the curtain to other curtains to create continous flow. Other than that, they work great. Easy to install, but you must press very hard to prevent a falling or misaligned curtain.
