Great for getting my son to nap longer during the day. Easy to install and it blocks out all of the light and the Velcro allows for easy take down when you want to let the light in. Just as advertised.
I got this blackout window cover for our front door because the sun beams directly on it and makes it way too hot to touch this curtain truly blocks out all sunlight and keeps the area behind it significantly cooler the material is thick and durable but still lightweight enough to hang easily without any heavy hardware it makes a huge difference in temperature and helps protect the door from direct sun exposure I also noticed it added more privacy and kept the light out completely during the brightest part of the dayWhat I really like is that it requires no drilling and can be cut to fit your exact door or window size that makes it easy to use even for renters or temporary setups I just trimmed it to match our trailer door and pressed it into place it stays up well and hasn’t given us any issues since I put it up whether for cooling the space improving privacy or just wanting it darker in a certain room this blackout cover really does its job
This is really just a mylar sheet with adhesive backed hook and loop pads. I did expect something a bit more finished, but also realize that, given the size of the sheet, this would be best for cutting down to whichever size you need.It does do an excellent job at blocking light. So, I’ll cut it to size, finish or hem it to look a little less… bachelor pad DIYesque… and use it as intended for our basement theater room.It’s maybe a little more expensive then the same type of Mylar sheet I used for my indoor greenhouse, but not more than the normal price.
