Surprisingly Realistic

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of artificial flowers. If you're planning on gifting someone flowers, spend a little more and go for the real thing as fake ones just don't compare and may send the wrong message, but if you're just looking for a cheap alternative to decorate with, you could do a lot worse than these.Artificial flowers have come a long way from the plastic and wax ones my grandmother used to have in her house in the 1970s which never looked real. Sure, if you inspect these up close and touch them, you can tell they're not the real deal, but from a distance I'll be darned if these couldn't pass for the real thing.It's all due to the detail. The roses themselves have a nice, rich ruby red color and the velvet mimics the soft texture of live roses. The leaves are multi hued with a veined texture and the stems have fake thorns. That all adds up to a pretty impressive facsimile of the real thing.We placed them on a public service desk of our library as part of our Valentine's decorations and everyone thinks they're real (until they smell them). Sure, they're a bit too perfect to be live, but for photo shoots and seasonal decor, they look great, are reusable and cost a lot less than a live bouquet. I wasn't expecting too much, but they surprised even a skeptic like me.

Forever Roses!

I got these velvet fake roses for my wife. I gave them to her and told them I had found flowers for her that were like my love for her; forever!I know that’s corny but that’s how I try to be romantic. If you’re looking to do the same for your significant other, these fake velvet roses are ALMOST perfect.These things look and feel just like real roses. I was honestly worried about thorns. The red color is very vibrant. The green stem and leaves are a little pale but from about three feet, they look real! These are not too long and not too short. They’re almost the perfect size. The stems do have marks on them that look like they might be suggested cut areas to adjust length. I haven’t tried to cut them. I like the length.The only thing I don’t like about them is the smell. These fake velvet roses have a slightly offensive smell. Granted you have to put your nose in them to smell it. I just figure I’d give this warning because they look so good you’re gonna want to smell them to see if they smell as good as they look. Trust me, don’t do it! I plan on spraying these with my wife’s favorite perfume to enhance my level of wanna be romantic cheesiness.If you like roses but you hate paying money for something that dries up and withers away within days of purchase; these fake velvet roses are for you! Another major bonus, if you have cats, there ain’t no way those little jerks are eating these units and puking all over your house!
