4 Stars – Small group Flexible Seating

I ordered these thinking they were thick padded cushions, but they turned out to be flat carpet circles—and I was pleasantly surprised! As a kindergarten teacher, I love that they can be used both indoors and outdoors. They're lightweight, easy to store, and perfect for small group activities. My wish is that they would come in a reusable bag vs the plastic bag that they came in. The 16" size is a bit large for my students, but it actually works well by giving each child their own personal space. Nice addition to a classroom!

Honestly, this is the funnest item I’ve had the opportunity to review! I’ve never seen anything like it and they are being put to good use.I’m a huge space nerd, so I had plans for these whether the kids liked them or not! The kids and their cousins have fun with them! They like to line them up and jump from one planet to the next. They also made a little quiz game where one kid calls out a planet, and then they all try to identify and run to that planet and put their foot on it. I could see this being incorporated into a classroom setting for fun learning. The planets are pretty accurate (minus Saturn‘s rings) and each is easily identifiable by color or other characteristics. Jupiter’s giant storm spot is there! It’s a nerd’s paradise lol. The backsides are grippy, so these are safe for wood floor or tile if you have it.Of course the cats claimed them too. It made for a good photo opportunity until Mars got thrown up on. I’m happy to report that the planets hold up well to both the Bissel little green machine and the regular wash machine if needed. They have maintained their plushness/thickness and softness after much roughhousing.We’re assisting with a remodel of a young boy’s bedroom. We’re getting a second set to be able to hang on his wall with tapestry clips. We’re making the whole solar system. Really good value for a decoration, and then useful/functional when taken down to play with.A+ for learning youngsters and older space nerds alike!
