This makes a really cute Mother's Day gift. I got this for our 4 kids to make for their mom for Mother's Day. I'm going to have them each pick their favorite color. Our 18 year old will put her left hand on the left hand side, our 11 year old will put her right hand on the right hand side. Once those dry our 5 year old will put his right hand a little over his sisters on the left hand side and the baby, our 2 year old will put her left hand over her sisters on the right hand side. then they will all sign it. I used the included pen to write "Mother's Day 2026" on the back to see how well it works on the wood and it's very smooth and easy to write with. Once it's completed I'm going to use a sealer and seal the whole thing to keep it looking great for many years to come. The wood base is very nice as well as the wood pieces used for displaying it once it's completed. This is fun for the kids and will mean the world to their mother. We're a very crafty family and most likely won't use the paints that are included but there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with them. The wood base comes protected in bubble wrap. The bow detail and the writing are executed perfectly and look fantastic. This DIY handprint art kit for mom is worth the money. It even comes with an adorable little keychain.
