Attractive, good quality, contents well organized, easy installation
Company should be proud of their product. Rod and bracket components were well packaged to keep things organized and to prevent damage in transit. Brackets and rod components are good quality and sturdy. Components have smooth finish and fit together smoothly. All needed items were included, including directions. Three brackets were included with each rod so you can have added support in the middle if necessary. Plastic screw anchors were included along with the screws. Installing brackets and assembling rods was not difficult with help of an inexpensive 8 horsepower drill. (For your perspective, while we are experienced at mounting curtain rods, we're never going to be particularly handy at it. If a product doesn't arrive with all the pieces needed and they all work together well we're not the kind of people who can hack it to make it work.)The rods are attractive. Grommet top curtains move very easily along the rods.Please note that you are given a several short rod pieces of different lengths to assemble together to get the overall rod length that you want. Depending on the length you want, you may or may not use all of the short rod pieces provided.The rod length is limited by the dimensions of the rods you're given. They are not further adjustable. Unlike rods where there are two end pieces that slide in and out of each other, you can't slide or twist these rods in or out a bit to achieve just the right length to fit the brackets you've installed. Instead, you have to assemble the rod to get your desired length first, and then install the brackets precisely to match that length. An advantage that I like of this style of rod is that you don't have that bump in the middle of the rod where the two pieces slide together. That bump can keep curtains from moving back and forth smoothly over the rod. Also these rods seem more sturdy and more supportive of heavier drapes than the slide together type.

I must admit I was skeptical at first when rods arrived in a small box in pieces/sections. When assembled this rod is very lightweight and I was concerned my curtains may be too heavy. Nope. Once installed I was quite pleased. No instructions as others have mentioned but easy to figure out how to assemble. Sections come in different lengths to suit rod width preference. Overall a nice, functional product at a very reasonable price.

I was surprised to see the box with "frequently returned item" and so many critical comments on adjustability and having pieces screw together instead of sliding to fit snuggly (this is NOT a telescopic rod). Although the seller did not make this as clear as they should have in the written description, it is clear in the video. Thumbs up to the reviewers who did a great job describing what you actually get, or I would have been as surprised as others at the limited adjustability. Fortunately the sizes worked out for me. I agree with others that some 3" or 4" pieces would have made a big difference for a good fit.My window is 100", so I used 5 of the 8 15 3/4" and the one 8" piece for a total length of 112" finial pieces included. I purchased the 26" -144" item with 4 brackets. The 6" overhang on each side is acceptable to me. I had to learn about the actual size and number of the pieces from a review.The brackets were what sold me on this rod. They are sturdy, easily adjustable for closer to or further from the wall, include a screw to keep the rod from sliding when opening or closing drapes and came with all the promised screws and anchors. Four brackets keep the rod from bowing and add needed stability for the length. The finish is durable.I read comments about metal grommets scratching the rod. There were 24 plastic grommet inserts/protectors. I needed 40, so I used them in the spots that get more movement. They do protect the rod from scratching and making a metallic scraping noise when you open or close the drapes. Also learned about these from a review.I have another large window to do and plan on buying the smallest option (26" - 40") so I have the finial ends to use with the 3 leftover segments I have.Although I am "5 star" happy with this purchase I give 3 stars overall for the poor description and lack of instructions of what I think is a great product. On second thought, based on the reviews, I am NOT surprised that this item is frequently returned. A concise description would have been more helpful than adding "a touch of class to any room". Just sayin'...
