Do NOT open the package before reading the instructions
Before you read the full review of this product. Let me warn you. Do NOT begin to open each individual rod package before you read the instructions. Each one is labeled with a letter and this is a crucial step as you need to connect them accordingly. I went ahead and began assembling before reading the instructions and wasted time trying to connect ends that were not meant to be connected. The manufacturer needs to make the letters white instead of black since they are easy to miss in the packaging.Ok now let me me tell you what I like. I have a window wall that is 120” and needed a strong curtain rod. Plus I am putting up blackout curtains that are heavy. This is a metal rod and it is sturdy and strong. I’m my case we did have to use the support braces for the middle since we have a wider window and it began to sag in the middle. This sagging may be because it is not a single rod but multiple rods connecting to make one. After we put the support base I have had no issues with it sagging. It holds up the blackout curtains with no trouble.The connection of two rods does have ridges that are slightly visible. This may be an issue depending on how you will hang your curtains (curtain ring vs curtain back tabs). As you slide the curtain ring to open or close your curtain, the ring may get caught momentarily in the ridge and not allow for a very smooth opening/close. This was no issue for me as I installed them using the curtain back tabs and it did not get caught.For the price, I am pleased with the functionality of this product and its overall appearance.

I have a 140" opening into a Florida room and wanted a ceiling mountable curtain rod to provide some privacy in this space. It worked perfectly and assembly was easy.Two issues I had were that rings were not provided and there are photos in the listing that the rings are provided as a freebie. I have pinch pleat curtains I am ultimately hanging here so I will have to purchase rings with clips separately.Second is the the matte black finish did scrape off when I bumped two of the poles together during the installation process.I still think this is a great item and love that it comes with the mounting bracket and the rod in a compact package.I have heavy curtains hanging on this currently and moved them a bunch and the rod seems sturdy. It also looks visibly very nice in the space. This is a heavier rod once put together but the brackets seem capable of holding the weight even when mounted into the ceiling vs. wall. I used all 3 brackets for stability.Note in the pictures that my ceiling is elevated on the left side, that is why it appears super crooked! Just a design choice.
